We are excited to welcome a small group of history buffs & hikers to Northern Ireland and County Donegal next fall. Irish Tales & Trails is a unique opportunity to see parts of Ireland that most U.S. tourists overlook and you are invited!

We've blended together some history-focused city sightseeing in Belfast and Derry with trail walking (suitable for beginners) on the Causeway Coast and in Donegal. A few highlights:

• See the world-famous murals in Belfast and Derry and engage in walking seminars and discussions with people who lived through The Troubles and who are engaged in the still unfolding peace process today.

• Stroll along the 17th century walls of Derry, Ireland’s most complete walled city whose historical, artistic and musical offerings earned the title of UK City of Culture in 2013.

• Visit medieval Dunluce Castle and the Giant’s Causeway, a designated World Heritage site, in the company of an expert guide whose family has lived on this shore for centuries.
