This class is designed for students in their first or second year of tango study that have at least 2-3 months previous tango experience and learning. If you are brand new to tango, please inquire about our entry-level program for absolute beginners.

ARGENTINE TANGO INTERMEDIATE, 8 - 9:30PM, THURSDAY
This is an intermediate level Argentine Tango class that will present a new focus each month. Students enrolling should have a solid tango foundation and have working knowledge of both parallel and cross system movement and basic concepts involving giros. (tango turns) If you've been dancing a while and are accustomed to attending Practicas, Milongas, and dancing with various partners, we hope you join this class!

Cost:
Classes are purchased in sets of 4. Sets have a 6-week expiration, so don't worry if miss a class.

This class is best suited for the advanced-beginner or low intermediate tango student, with 1-3 years tango experience.
We introduce fun new elements and sequences each week, while revisiting the important basics accompanied by detailed emphasis for lead and follow, couple connection, posture, embrace, and musicality. We explore and learn creative moves that will make your dance partner smile. Cultural aspects are also taught to help dancers feel comfortable, and "in the know" as they begin to attend social tango events/socials (Milongas) among the local Atlanta tango community or elsewhere.
