The Software Freedom School likes to promote the idea of “Software Freedom 1st Friday”, the habit of learning and doing something new with Free Software (Software Libre) every month, on the first Friday of the month.

The 1st Friday of November is the 7th. If you’d like to “learn and do” with us, join us at The Tinkermill where we’ll have our own Bitcoin expert, Jessica Wicker, walk us gently through our first Bitcoin Baby Steps. SFS will bring a bitcoin to share with the students. We ask that you make a small contribution to help us pay for it. If you already have bitcoin that you're willing to share, even better!
