【ピクニック】Outdoor Language Exchange and Potluck Picnic

This event is for TJEX's annual outdoor potluck/picnic event at Riverdale Park. In this open space, you can enjoy practicing your Japanese and making new friends. All participants will be required to bring a shareable dish to contribute to the potluck.

This event is only for TJEX members who have participated in at least threelanguage exchanges within the past 6 months. Please join the waitlist and we will confirm your attendance as soon as possible.

・RSVP cancel deadline: July 19 (Saturdays) 23:59 PM

The timetable is as follows:

• 3:45 PM〜　Check-in
• 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM　Japanese half [or English]
• 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM　English half [or Japanese]
• 5:00 PM〜　Picnic, Free time

・Direction: The nearest station is Broadview subway station. We will let you know the meeting spot later on this page.

・As noted earlier, participants will are required to bring food for the potluck. But please feel free to bring other food or snacks you can share with people. In Ontario, drinking alcohol in a public place is prohibited, so please DO NOT bring any alcoholic drinks.

・We will sit on the grass in the park, and if you’d prefer, feel free to bring a picnic mat or blanket.

・If the weather is bad, we will cancel the outdoor event and hold a regular language exchange at Atrium Food Court at the usual time (5:00PM - 6:30PM). If you won't be joining our indoor session, please move yourself to the “Not-going” list by 1:00 PM. If we have to cancel the outdoor event, we will announce this in the comments section of this page by 12:00 PM on the day, so please keep checking our page.

⚠️RSVP & Late Policy:

• Failure to show, arriving after 4:15 PM (15 minutes late), and cancelling after 12:00 AM on the day of the event all constitute a "no-show". Members are removed from the group after their third no-show.

TJEXの毎年恒例のピクニックイベントを、今年もRiverdale Parkで行います。とても広い公園で、英語の練習を楽しみながら、新しい友達を作る良い機会にもなります。
参加希望の方全員にお願いです。
何かみんなでシェアできる食べ物をお持ち頂くか(英語でpotluckと言います)、8ドルのお支払いをお願い致します。(TJEXからピザを用意する予定です)
まずは、ウェイトリストとして参加していただき、こちらで確認次第、参加予定のリストへ移させて頂きます。

・RSVPキャンセル期限：7月19日（土曜日）23:59まで

タイムテーブルは以下の通りです：
3:45 PM〜　チェックイン
4:00 PM - 4:30 PM　日本語半分 [または英語]
4:30 PM - 5:00 PM　英語半分 [または日本語]
5:00 PM〜　ピクニック、自由時間
・案内：最寄り駅はBroadview地下鉄駅です。詳細な待ち合わせ場所は後日このページでお知らせいたします。
・先述の通り、参加者は持ち寄りで料理やお菓子などを持参する必要があります。何をお持ち頂けるかは、特に指定はないので参加する皆さまの判断にお任せします。オンタリオ州では公共の場でのアルコール摂取は禁止されているため、アルコール飲料は絶対に持ち込まないでください。
・イベント中、公園内の草の上に座る事になるので、もしあればマットやブランケットを持参してもらえると良いと思います。
・天候が悪い場合、ピクニックは中止とし、通常のlanguage exchange のイベントをいつも通りの時間（午後5時から6時30分）にAtriumフードコートで開催します。雨天中止になった場合で、その後のlanguage exchange のイベントに参加しない場合は、午後1時までに「不参加」リストに移動してください。天気が怪しい場合でも、ピクニックをキャンセルする場合は、その日の正午までにこのページのコメント欄で発表しますので、定期的にページを確認してください。
⚠️RSVPと遅刻ポリシー：
イベントに当日不参加、4:15 PM以降に到着する（遅刻15分）、イベント当日の午前12:00 AM以降にキャンセルする場合、いずれも「ノーショー」とみなされます。メンバーは3回目のノーショー後にグループから削除されるので、お気をつけ下さい！
