🇲🇾 A trip to Penang!

Penang is known for the food heaven of Malaysia and also the well-preserved heritage building throughout Georgetown (listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008, along with Malacca). It is also world-famous for its murals which appears on social medias and travel books on Penang.

On this trip, we will explore the murals, eat the famous Air Itam Laksa, ride up to Penang Hill, try the best char kway teow in town (everybody in Penang claimed that they are the best at this), eat Penang Chendol, and simply appreciate the heritage buildings which are well preserved. And do you know that half of the scenes of Crazy Rich Asians are actually shot here? Yep, we'll visit some of the shooting locations. Interested? book your flight tickets then!

Tricks for booking hotel to get cheaper price:
First, download Agoda app from AppStore/PlayStore and sign in.

Second, open Google Map on your phone (yes, need to be on the phone). Search for the property name 'Chulia Mansion Hotel Penang'. You'll see 'Availability'. Enter the dates: 26 May to 28 May. You'll see the list of price. Pick the one with Agoda logo. Booking via app is cheaper, so, clicking this option will brings up the Agoda app and the deal should be already applied to the property. I managed to book 2 nights for MYR 254.80 (~ SGD 76.78). If you see different price than this, that means the price went up or the cheaper rooms are not available anymore.

Deadline
Please book your plane tickets by 30 April 2023, 23.59 hours. If there are no confirmation, I'll assume that you are not going and you'll be moved to 'Not Going' list.
