Iconic Coastal Hike | Seven Sisters | Sun 14 June

One of the most spectacular day hikes in the whole of England ๐ŸŒŠ

A full day on the South Downs, taking in the iconic white chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters, sweeping coastal views and the wild beauty of the East Sussex coastline. This one is a proper adventure.

About this hike
We start in Seaford and follow the clifftop path along the Seven Sisters. Seven dramatic chalk headlands with the English Channel stretching out below you. We'll stop at Birling Gap for a packed lunch with one of the best views you'll find anywhere in the country, before continuing on through to Eastbourne. Expect open downland, coastal paths and big skies all day.

The route
Clifftop and downland paths with significant elevation changes across the Seven Sisters themselves. A stunning but demanding stretch of coastline that rewards every climb with incredible views.

The vibe
A big, brilliant day out on one of England's most iconic stretches of coastline. Relaxed pace, great company and a whole lot of views. Toasted Fig hikes are friendly and welcoming, whether you're coming solo or with a friend, you'll feel at home from the moment we meet at Victoria.

That said, this one is a long day with several steep climbs, it's best suited to people who are comfortable on their feet for 5โ€“6 hours and have done some hiking before. If you're not sure whether it's the right level for you, just drop me a message and we can figure it out together.

Safety
I'm a qualified outdoor first aider, so you're in safe hands on the trail ๐Ÿ™Œ
