About us
We empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome. Your journey through Toastmasters will help you turn goals into realities and build self-confidence. We enjoy hearing prepared speeches (usually 5-7 minutes long), evaluations of speeches and impromptu (Table Topics) speeches. There is humor, laughter and inspiration at Toastmasters events. Guests are always welcome.

Talk of Monmouth
·OnlineOnlineTalk of Monmouth is an advanced Toastmasters club that meets online on the second and fourth Thursdays from 7:30-9:30 pm Eastern with a 10-minute break.
Toastmasters who have completed a Level 2 in Pathways (or a DTM in the legacy program) are welcome to join the club and all Toastmasters are invited to visit.
Our meetings include:
• Three or four prepared speakers / presenters
• Time for longer speeches or educational sessions
• Engaging impromptu speaking (Table Topics)
• Round Robin evaluations in addition to the speaker's assigned evaluator
• Theme meetings
• Special events on the fifth ThursdaysThe club has attained President's Distinguished status each year since 2016.
The club has a strong mentoring program. Many members have served in District leadership positions and beyond.
