About us
This Toastmasters group is for you if you're looking to:
- Improve your confidence
- Communicate effectively in public speaking
- Develop leadership
You'll also get support from a mentor who will help guide you as you develop your communication skills.
You won't be alone and all skill levels are welcome. You can watch or participate. You can bring a friend if that makes you more comfortable.
Every Toastmasters meeting will have a couple of prepared speeches, followed by an impromptu session then followed up by friendly evaluations to help each other grow.
While we are physically in NE Portland, Oregon, our membership has always included people from the greater Portland metro area (Vancouver, WA, & Troutdale, OR).
With the advent of online meetings, we also have members from Seattle, San Francisco, and guests visiting from other parts of the U.S. and other countries.
We meet on line so you can meet people from a variety

### A Meaningful Invitation
In the spirit of Memorial Day, we are creating space for something deeper.
Veterans are especially invited to attend and share their stories—if they feel led to do so—in a respectful, supportive environment.
No pressure. Just an opportunity.***
### Who Should Attend
This Open House is ideal for:
- Anyone who wants to become a more confident speaker
- Professionals looking to sharpen communication and leadership skills
- Individuals who have a story to share but don’t know where to start
- Veterans and families who value connection, honor, and legacy

### Why It Matters
Most people avoid speaking up… not because they lack something to say, but because they lack the confidence to say it.
That’s what we help people overcome.
And on a weekend like this, where remembrance matters, your voice matters even more.***
### Final Note
You don’t have to be great to start.
But you do have to start to become great.
We’d be honored to have you join us.***
