Improve your confidence, speaking & leadership abilities at Toastmasters. There are three clubs in Tasmania - in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport. All Tasmanian Toastmasters clubs provide a friendly and supportive environment to learn and develop your speaking and leadership skills. Join hundreds of other Australians who are already enjoying the benefits of the Toastmasters program. Toastmasters - Tasmania has a local club near you where you can participate in fortnightly meetings to develop your communication and leadership skills. You can also participate in a range of activities including intensive public speaking short-courses, conventions, and workshops.
Why not visit your local club, meet the members, and see for yourself what the Toastmasters program has to offer you. Anyone over the age of eighteen may join--there is a mix of age, gender, cultural backgrounds and experience at our clubs. Toastmasters extensive educational system has already helped more than 1,000,000 people around the world. Become the speaker and leader you want to be! Toastmasters is a not-for-profit training organisation focused on communication and leadership development. Through our network of clubs we help you gain confidence and skills to speak in front of an audience.
Toastmaster is more than just public speaking, it is a supportive community who cheer each other on and celebrate each others growth. If you are new in town or just wanting to expand your social network, Toastmasters is a great place to start. The connections you will make will go far beyond superficial small talk. You may be nervous walking through the door the first time, however you can expect to be warmly welcomed into the community.

Launceston Toastmasters

We are all at differing stages of growth in communication & leadership through Toastmasters Pathways. Everyone is welcome. Come along & grow with us!
We meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.
There is no charge for visitors. Come along a few times to see if this is for you. A free, light supper is served each meeting.
We meet from 7pm to 9pm at the Library Building, 8 High Street Launceston, right in the CBD. Arriving at 6.45pm is best so we can welcome you to our club. We are all very friendly!
