ABOUT WHITE ROCK EVENING EDITION TOASTMASTERS
Do you want to be a better communicator? Or a better leader? Evening Edition Toastmasters is a great place to start.
Evening Edition is a fun, positive club with a safe learning environment. People come to do what many find very difficult, to be authentic and vulnerable in front of an audience. We are very vigilant in protecting our positive club culture.
We'd love to have you join us!
As a visitor, you'll observe our club spirit and how our meetings are organized. We found the best way to find great new members and protect our club’s culture is to offer three free visits so that we can learn about each other. Hopefully, we’re a good fit. We have a membership acceptance protocol that we can talk about when you visit.
What can you expect at a meeting? At Toastmasters, there's a fairly standard agenda. Each person rotates through various speaking roles (such as humorist, timer, chairperson, etc.). There are also opportunities for our club members to do impromptu and prepared speeches each week. We provide resources and mentoring support to help beginners.
We're proud of our 'love, laugh, learn' brand. We love to help our members flourish, tap into their potential and grow in confidence.

Learn to be Prepared for Life's Impromptu Meetings and Moments! We learn how to calm the nerves and be brilliant, humorous, or whatever the moment calls for when put on the spot to say a few words.
Perfect for existing Toastmasters who feel they could use a little more Table Topics practice and impromptu speaking techniques and tools.
Not a Toastmaster? Come out and join the fun anyway! Our members are also members of regular community clubs. You'll likely get an invitation or two to a meeting that will help you learn the basics of speaking in public, gaining confidence and leading others.
Our regular meeting (3rd Thursday of each month) is always free for guests.
