About us
Welcome to Together; A Men’s Growth & Accountability Fellowship.
🚀 Our Mission
This group is designed for men who are looking for sincerity and depth in their relationships with other men. Together is about connecting men who are living with intentionality, purpose, and integrity. We focus on encouragement, accountability, and a depth of sharing that fosters deep emotional bonds and soulfulness through shared experiences and community. Together, we explore and seek to better understand our personal values, and lean on each other to foster a greater integration with those values. We believe that curiosity and friendship are cornerstones to happiness and joy. We hope you join us.
📋 Our Core Focus Areas
• Mental and Emotional training and belonging: This aspect of Together is at the core of everything we are about. Life will most certainly be tough. We will all encounter and live with grief and temptation, and work and our relationships will challenge us in ways we might currently struggle to navigate. But what if there were a better way? What if we could become men who are more integrated with our emotional selves and as such, have more capacity to handle the challenges of family and relationships and daily life? What if. I believe we will answer this in our group. I believe happiness, presence, and joy are all byproducts of this integration. By creating healthy routines and community, and through self discovery, I believe all of us have the ability to become livelier, more joyful and more grounded in our healthy masculine presence.
• Radical Accountability: Together is a safe space to share your successes and struggles, set attainable goals, and have practical follow-through on courageously sharing and working through the challenges each of us might face. As someone who has struggled with addiction, I have seen firsthand how these have impacted my esteem and relationships. I have also noticed that changes to my environment and routines have led to breakthroughs in the areas with which I've struggled. Together is a place where those looking for accountability on their journey will receive it, and those looking for new, practical ways to approach life will also be met with support and feedback when it is asked for.
• Communication & Listening: As a group, it is my hope that we will all learn to be better listeners and communicators, and it is my goal that we will carry this more empathetic, engaged listening and communicating into our houses and our families to also connect better with those we love and care for.
—> Please Note; When this group reaches 7 people, we will limit any other membership so as to keep the community small enough to continually build rapport and trust. At the end of each Meetup, we will leave with a thought, prompt, or challenge to take into the next week. This I hope, will bring more awareness into our time outside of the group and give us something to be mindful and meditative on until the next meeting. When you have signed up to attend the first meeting, I will send you the address we are meeting at in Vancouver Washington near I-205 and Hwy 14. We have secured a private, indoor meeting space and bottled water will be provided. Bathrooms will also be available. Please reach out if you have any questions.
⚠️ Ground Rules & Medical Disclaimer
First and foremost, this is a cisgender men's group. At the heart of it, I truly only understand this cisgender experience of human life, and as such, I feel it would be disingenuous to believe I can offer the kind of support and alignment others might be seeking. To maintain a safe and focused environment, all members must agree to the following standards:
-
Not a Therapy Group: This group is a peer-led fellowship for mutual support, encouragement and mentorship. It is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or psychiatric care.
-
No Medical Advice: We are peers, not doctors. This group cannot and will not provide any medical or psychological diagnoses, treatment plans, or medical advice.
-
Consult a Professional: If you are experiencing a medical emergency, severe mental health crisis, or require clinical treatment for addiction, you must consult a qualified doctor or licensed medical professional.
