What is Crypto Economic Design/Token Engineering and why do we need it?
If you are involved in the space, it’s a foregone conclusion that you have to think about ecosystem design from a variety of angles. If you are not too familiar with the space or have burning questions, please come, learn and debate. Being able to communicate the problem and the proposed solution in a succinct and clear way is critical to bringing others along in the build out of these complex systems. Let’s review how to accomplish this.
Format: 3 presentations of 20-30 minutes + 30 minutes of open conversation, white-boarding and whatever else is needed to have an engaging discussion.
And... a look ahead. Here are some of the topics we want to discuss in future sessions:
What are the theoretical and mathematical foundations of cryptoeconomic system design?
What are useful blockchain primitives to consider in your design? When do you use them, when do you not?
What research and requirements analysis is needed to understand the system you are designing?
What is the purpose of modeling crypto economic systems (prediction, identifying weaknesses)? What are the limitations? What tools are out there to help build these models?
