Join Tokyo Blues Dance for an air-conditioned afternoon of learning the basics of blues dancing. This beginner course is perfect for beginners who want to explore the world of partner dancing while immersing themselves in the varied soulful rhythms of blues music. We will guide you through fundamental techniques and moves, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable on the dance floor.

Not only will you improve your dance skills, but you will also have the confidence to connect with fellow dancers in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether you're looking to expand your cultural horizons, meet new people, or simply enjoy a night of good music and dancing, this dance is perfect for anyone interested in blues dance and culture exchange. Come solo or bring a partner, and get ready to move and groove to the soulful sounds of blues!

Since this is a beginner level, no experience is needed and material may be adjusted to match the participants.

For solo, we will explain the posture and how to express the rhythm with the body, then share some movements that can be used.
Then we will discuss dancing with ideas and how to communicate respectfully when in pairs.

Tier1：¥9,000 until 5 Sep or Up to the first 10 people　！Sold out！
Tier2：¥11,000 After Tier 1 sells out / day-of participation to 9 Oct
Tier3：¥13,000 from 10 Oct onward

* Apply as a pair with L&F and get 500 yen off per person.
* If you take Yukari & Fabien WS, you can get 500-yen discount.
(This does not apply to those who have a Viva's discount. )
* If you take the VIVA WS 2-day course in June, you can get 2,000 yen off

💰Party Fees

🐼Cancel Policy
Until 19 Sep (Sat) 50% refund
From 20Sep (Sun) NO REFUND for any reason
You can receive a 50% refund if you contact us by 11:59 PM on Saturday, 5 Sep, following your registration.
No refunds will be issued on or after Sunday, 6 Sep; however, you may transfer your spot to another person until the day of the event.
*Even if your spot is transferred to someone else, all participants must still complete the registration form.
