I have been blues dancing for almost 10 years. I am not an expert, but want to see more dancers in Tokyo. As a result, I am trying to have classes to introduce this dance to those interested.

Join Tokyo Blues Dance for an air-conditioned afternoon of learning the basics of blues dancing. This beginner course is perfect for beginners who want to explore the world of partner dancing while immersing themselves in the varied soulful rhythms of blues music. We will guide you through fundamental techniques and moves, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable on the dance floor.Not only will you improve your dance skills, but you will also have the confidence to connect with fellow dancers in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether you're looking to expand your cultural horizons, meet new people, or simply enjoy a night of good music and dancing, this dance is perfect for anyone interested in blues dance and culture exchange. Come solo or bring a partner, and get ready to move and groove to the soulful sounds of blues!
Since this is a beginner level, no experience is needed and material may be adjusted to match the participants.
For solo, we will explain the posture and how to express the rhythm with the body, then share some movements that can be used.
Then we will discuss dancing with ideas and how to communicate respectfully when in pairs.Cost
