Spring is here, and we’re combining our Friday night run with a special sakura hanami picnic.
We’ll meet at our usual meeting point, enjoy a relaxed group run toward Ueno Park, and then celebrate cherry blossom season together with a casual night picnic under the sakura trees.
This is not a race — it’s about movement, connection, and enjoying Tokyo in one of its most beautiful seasons.
Whether you’re a regular runner or just want to jog and make friends, this event is for you!

After arriving:

• Stop by a convenience store (konbini)
• Buy snacks and drinks

### Sendagi → Yanaka → Nezu Shrine → Ueno Park

Join us for a relaxed photo walk through one of Tokyo’s most charming historic neighborhoods, ending with a small picnic and photo exchange in Ueno Park.
We’ll meet at Sendagi Station and begin walking through the nostalgic streets of Yanaka, one of the few areas in Tokyo where you can still feel the atmosphere of old downtown Tokyo.
From there, we’ll continue through Yanaka Reien, a peaceful cemetery known for its beautiful tree-lined paths and quiet scenery. After that, we’ll visit the iconic Nezu Shrine, famous for its traditional architecture and red torii gates — a perfect place for photography.
Our walk will end at Ueno Park, where we’ll relax with a small picnic and share the photos we captured during the walk.
This event is not about professional photography — it’s about exploring the city, noticing small details, and connecting with others through creativity.
Smartphones are absolutely welcome.

At the end of the walk, we’ll gather in Ueno Park for a casual picnic where participants can:
• share their favorite photos
• talk about what caught their attention during the walk
• relax and get to know each other

# 🖨 Instax Photo Exchange

To make the event more memorable, I will bring a Fujifilm Instax printer.
Participants can select one of their favorite photos from the walk, print it using the Instax printer, and exchange the photo with another participant as a small souvenir from the day.
It’s a fun way to leave the event with a physical memory of the experience.
