What we’re about
There's a massive shift taking place in the world. People are waking up to the truth of who they really are at an increasingly rapid rate. And it's happening in Japan too. Tokyo Conscious Club was created to provide a friendly space for 'seekers' (and finders!) on the path of self discovery, realization and awakening, to come together to share their experiences on this journey of life and to enjoy the presence of like minded people.
A bit of background about me:
For as long as I can remember I've been a seeker. A seeker of truth. Someone with an intense curiosity to understand the meaning of this totally mysterious thing we call life. Throughout this journey I've met, and sat, with teachers from a wide range of traditions and I've had experiences that have been at times difficult to put into words. Yet, as revealing, healing and (mostly) enjoyable as these experiences have been, they've all very simply pointed to the truth of reality - a truth that's closer than your very next breath. A truth that's been hiding in plain sight. An open secret.
Tokyo Conscious was born out of a rather spontaneous arising of clarity. An awakening that's been transformative and yet completely natural, ordinary and strikingly obvious at the same time. While there is clarity here of who I am, there's also tremendous gratitude and acceptance for the story in which my life appears as well as for the greater narrative within which we all play a part. There's still an apparent journey taking place, but it's seen as one that simply arises without expectation or desire for things to be other than what they are.
The Big Mystery remains just that. Change will happen. Potential will emerge. Reality will be what it is, moment to moment. The ups and downs of life will continue. It's simply what's happening. Let life flow. This. Is. It.
