This month’s Tokyo Talk Time is a casual, thoughtful conversation about money, work, and identity — not in a productivity or advice-driven way, but in a human one.

We’ll explore how our relationship with money and work quietly shapes the way we live: the choices we make, the risks we take (or avoid), how safe or stressed we feel, and how we see ourselves over time. For many of us living abroad or between cultures, these questions can feel especially layered.

This isn’t about “doing better” or having answers. It’s a space to reflect, share experiences, listen to different perspectives, and notice how money and stability intersect with freedom, values, and self-worth in everyday life. You’re welcome to talk, listen, or simply be present. Some people will share personal stories, others may just take it in — all of it is okay.

🚶‍♀️ Charity Walk in Tokyo — Meet New People & Support a Good Cause

Event Details:
Join us for a charity walk in central Tokyo — a relaxed, social afternoon spent walking, talking, and meeting new people, while supporting an important cause.
This event is hosted in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity Japan, an organization working to improve housing and living conditions for vulnerable communities across Japan. All participation fees from this walk will be donated directly to Habitat for Humanity Japan.

We’ll walk together at an easy, comfortable pace, with plenty of time for conversation along the way. The focus isn’t on distance or speed, but on shared time, connection, and community. Many people join solo, and the atmosphere makes it easy to feel welcome from the start.

As the afternoon light softens toward evening, we’ll enjoy the calm city atmosphere and finish around sunset — a gentle, meaningful way to spend a Sunday.
