Event Details:
Join Tokyo Expat Social Club for a relaxed sunset picnic by the water at Odaiba Seaside Park.
Odaiba is one of the nicest places in Tokyo for a slower summer evening, with open sky, waterfront views, and a slightly different feeling from the usual city center parks.

We’ll gather near the waterfront, sit together, share snacks and drinks, and enjoy an easy social evening as the sun begins to go down. The event is casual, low-pressure, and beginner-friendly — perfect if you want to meet people without joining a loud bar or nightlife event.

Some people come with friends, but many attendees usually join solo. You’re welcome whether you’re new to Tokyo, visiting, or have been here for years.
The goal is simple: good company, relaxed conversations, and a summer evening by the bay.

Join Tokyo Expat Social Club for a relaxed summer walk from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa toward Monzen-Nakacho, passing through quieter streets, riverside paths, and local neighborhood corners along the way.

This walk is designed to be social, easygoing, and conversation-friendly. The goal is not speed or fitness — it’s simply to enjoy Tokyo at a slower pace while meeting new people and spending time outdoors.
We’ll start around Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, walk through the neighborhood, pass near the Kiyosumi Garden area, and gradually make our way toward the Sumida River / Monzen-Nakacho side. We’ll also include a short rest or snack stop along the way so people can sit, chat, and cool down.

Many people usually join solo, and the walking format makes it easy to talk naturally without pressure. Some conversations may be light, others may become more thoughtful, and sometimes people simply enjoy walking alongside the group.

Whether you’re new to Tokyo, visiting, or have been living here for years, you’re very welcome to join.
