🇯🇵 TIV Japanese Skill Level Guide
⚠️ Please Read Before Selecting Your Skill Level
Experience does NOT equal skill level.
Playing volleyball for many years or regularly joining Meetup events does not automatically make someone an Intermediate or Advanced player.
At TIV, your level is based on your current playing ability, including:
- Ball control
- Passing consistency
- Volleyball IQ
- Court positioning
- Rotations
- Decision making
- Ability to play within a structured offensive system
Our goal is to create balanced, competitive games where everyone can enjoy volleyball at the appropriate level.

❌ Struggle to perform the responsibilities of their position
⸻
Self Assessment
Before selecting C-Level, ask yourself:
✔ Can I consistently pass serves to the setter?
✔ Can I defend hard-driven attacks with control?
✔ Can I play an entire match without forgetting my rotation?
✔ Can I consistently perform the responsibilities of my position?
✔ Can I play within a structured 5-1 or 6-2 offense?
✔ Can I make offensive decisions instead of simply keeping the ball alive?
If you answered NO to several of these questions, our D-Level events will likely provide a more enjoyable experience.
