About us
We are an amateur group of writers in the Tokyo area focusing on speculative fiction. Members share and read each other's submissions before each meeting (short stories or novel excerpts, less than 5,000 words per meeting please).
We critique each other using the Milford method, where each member gives their impression uninterrupted for several minutes, and when everyone has finished the writer is allowed to respond.
We do not have any hard bans on subject material or topics, but keep in mind we are an inclusive group and open endorsement of bigotry and prejudice would not be welcome. Otherwise, we are open to all kind of speculative fiction and would look forward to reading whatever you write, whether you're an aspiring author or just writing for yourself.
