Welcome to Tokyo Tales & Tea Time Crew! We're a casual group of people who love Japanese language and culture, and we get together regularly to practice, learn, and just hang out. Whether you're a complete beginner trying to pick up some basic phrases or someone who's been studying for years, there's a place for you here. We keep things relaxed and judgment-free because let's be honest, language learning can feel intimidating sometimes. Our goal is to make it fun and natural, not stressful.

We typically meet up to chat in Japanese, share stories about our experiences with the language, discuss what we're currently learning, and occasionally do some structured activities when the group feels like it. But mostly we just want to create a community where people feel comfortable trying out their Japanese in a real conversation with others who get it. We usually have tea or coffee on hand because studying is better with a warm drink, and honestly, some of our best conversations happen over a cup of something.
