Join us at Tokyo Teen Mindfulness Meditation for a transformative event focused on self-empowerment through mindful meditation.
Our teens don’t know how to deal with all those emotions that most of the time cause them anxiety. As a mom of two teenagers and as an ex teenager, I know how it feels to be a little lost, angry, insecure and fearful. All leads to frustration. What we don’t know is that it’s normal, and ok, and that there are ways to control those things.
This session is for teenagers. My two teenagers included. It will be fun, it will be a safe space to share feelings, thoughts, beliefs or anything where no one will judge them.
We will be usingng a book tittled Buddhism for Teens by Candradasa, an Ordained member of Triratna.
Snacks and soft drinks will be provided, but feel free to bring anything to share with your new friends.
The session is free, but we appreciate donations to be able to pay the rent of a proper place one day.
The attendants don’t have to be Buddhist and it is not our aim to convert anyone. We respect people’s creeds. My teenagers are not Buddhist either, but they know the benefits of the Buddhist meditations I practice.
