Welcome to Tokyo Tennis Practice | Intermediate & Advanced🎾
This group is for players who enjoy tennis and want to practice with purpose, improve their game, and meet other motivated players in Tokyo.
Rather than simply gathering to play matches, our sessions focus on quality practice in a small-group environment. Depending on the session, we may work on rallies, consistency, movement, point play, match situations, and other areas that help you improve.
I am a tennis coach and former competitive player based in Tokyo. I spent several years training and competing in Serbia and Spain, and I have coached more than 200 players.
I created this group to offer a place where people can enjoy tennis socially while also getting focused practice and useful feedback.
・Who is this for?
This group is mainly for intermediate to advanced players.
You do not need to be a tournament player, but you should be able to rally consistently, serve, and play points.
The most important thing is that you enjoy tennis and want to improve.
・What to expect
Sessions are usually kept small so everyone gets enough time to hit.
Depending on the event, we may include:
- Rally and consistency practice
- Groundstroke and volley drills
- Serve and return
- Point-based exercises and match play
- Technical and tactical feedback
The format may change depending on the number and level of players.
・International players are welcome
Sessions can be conducted in English and Japanese.
Whether you have lived in Tokyo for years or recently moved here, you are welcome to join. You can also come alone — many players will be meeting for the first time.
・Want to improve more individually?
During group sessions, I will give advice and feedback when appropriate.
If you have a specific area you want to improve, are preparing for competition, or would like more individualized training, private coaching is also available in Tokyo. Feel free to message me or talk to me after a session.
