Tokyo Roleplaying Games

We will be back at Koenji to play Pen & Paper tabletop roleplaying games! You may know Dungeons and Dragons or any of the recent hot ones, but our wonderful GMs always bring new games and experiences to the table. Look forward to a nice spacious venue right next to the station, with great drinks, burgers and sandwiches.

To GMs who wish to run a game: Ping me (Martin) via direct message here on meetup or through the LINE group so I can set up a game entry for you. I need session name, system and description.
Game sessions will be set up as separate meetup entries.

To Players: Register here to mark the date, and wait for announcements of the different games we’ll play. Usually there are 2-3 different tables. Game sessions will be announced on this meetup group as separate entries before the event. Keep watching this space and sign up when games are up.

Please note that on previous meetups, we had people sign up for a game and then not show up. This is very inconsiderate of the GM and the other players. Spots are limited. If you take a slot, please make sure you can attend. If something comes up and you can’t attend, please cancel your reservation ASAP so someone from the waitlist can take your spot.

There is no entrance fee or table charge, but please make sure to order plenty of food and drink from the bar to support the venue. It’s also always appreciated to buy your GM a drink, because after all they have all the preparation work!

You are space truckers on the starfreighter USCSS Montero, running “the Gauntlet”— the trade route between Anchorpoint Station and the Frontier. Your ship’s cargo hold is packed with dozens of tanks of the rare gas Helium-3. Usually cargoes such as these are towed in massive tanker modules that transport much higher concentrations of the gas a safe distance from a freight hauler. The Montero isn’t rated as a commercial towing vehicle, however, and this small run is a special order for a Weyland-Yutani corporate account on Sutter’s World—a newly established Frontier colony.
