You are Delta Squad— colonial marines assigned to a unit called the Jackals.

Entering the Shānmén system aboard the Atlatl-class attack cruiser Righteous Fury, the Jackals discover that a pathogen has been deployed—the planet’s many settlements already hit. As distress calls flood the comms, General Hendricks destroys the unidentified bomber responsible for the attack and orders dropship teams to evacuate the colonies.
