About us
(Why has this circle been started?)
I’m in my early 60s and like hiking, dancing, and outdoor sports. I was looking for meetup circles on “meetup.com” fit for active seniors like me. However, unfortunately I couldn’t find such ones around Tokyo. So, I decided to organize one for myself.
(Activities and intentions of this circle)
I’d like to provide places to communicate and interact for seniors, e.g. hiking, eating & drinking etc. And I hope we have a fun time and make friends through common interests and activities. I would be happy if the waves of exchange among seniors are growing and make seniors' life more active and enjoyable.
(Co-organizer)
If someone want to organize a party or a event for seniors, please let me know. I'll be happy to have a co-organizer of this circle.

BASTA Shinjuku(Shinjuku Bus Terminal) 4F Information Center(In front of Ticket Counter), Shinjuku, Tokyo, JPMt. Kita-Hotakadake (北穂高岳) is a striking 3,106-meter peak located in the Northern Japan Alps. Renowned for its jagged, rocky summit and dramatic panoramic views, it sits at the northern end of the famous Hotaka Mountain Range on the border of Nagano and Gifu prefectures. Karasawa Cirque (涸沢カール) is a massive, crescent-shaped glacial valley at 2,300 meters in the Northern Japanese Alps. Surrounded by 3,000-meter peaks like Mount Okuhotaka, it serves as a scenic destination and a primary basecamp for mountaineers. (from Wikipedia, etc)
On the second day, we walk from Kamikochi to at Karasawa Cirque and camp* in our own tents at the campsite. The third day, we go up to Mt. Kita-Hotakadake and return to the campsite. The fourth day, we go back to Kamikochi. This hike is suitable for intermediate hikers. The primary route to Mt.
