Mt. Mitosan Hike：三頭山ハイキング

Mt. Mitosan(三頭山:1,531m) is located in Okutama, mountains area in the far western part of Tokyo, and is very popular with hikers. If visibility is good, we can see Mt. Fuji from the top. After hiking, I'd like to go to an onsen* on the way back, but it's optional. This hike is moderate-level and the pace is moderate, average 2.0km/h throughout the course. Please make sure that you participate in this hike at your own risk. In the case of rain or bad conditions, it may be canceled.

JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station(JR武蔵五日市駅) 8:05 -(Bus)- 9:13 Tomin-no-mori BS(都民の森BS) - 11:30 Mt. Mitosan(三頭山), lunch 12:30 -- 14:00 Tomin-no-mori BS(都民の森BS) 14:35 -(Bus)- 15:45** JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station(JR武蔵五日市駅)
**If you go to the onsen, you will arrive at 17:12.

Walking distance : 5.0km
Elevation distance(up/down) : 665/665m
Walking time : Approx. 3.0hours
3. Meeting Time and Place
8:00am* at the ticket gate of JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station(JR武蔵五日市駅改札)
*Our bus departs at 8:05am. Don't be late!!
4. Cloths and Belongings
hiking shoes, rain gear, gloves, hat/cap, headlamp/flashlight, sunglasses, sunblock, lunch/snack, 1.0L water, poles if you use them, map, first-aid kit, face towel and change of clothes for onsen, etc.
5. Participation Fee
As part of Meetup.com subscription fee: 500yen
6. Notes
_Anyone is welcome, regardless of age
_Be sure to update your RSVP when changing your attendance
_Do Not use bear bells, since it sounds like noise for some people
_If this event is cancelled, it will be posted on the message board by noon the day before.
