Details
Are there times you feel unseen or misunderstood? Do you ever find yourself presenting a certain image to others that is less than authentic but is strategic, your marketing program? What does it mean to live an authentic life—and why is it so difficult? This course explores the psychology and practice of authenticity: the alignment between who we are, what we feel, and how we live, looking at internal and external factors that shape our identity , the roles we perform, and the masks we wear. We will look at how shame, perfectionism, fear of rejection, and early conditioning disrupt authenticity—and how to reclaim a truer voice and way of being. This meetup will be hosted by Dr. Sharon Eve, psychotherapist and author, and group activities and discussion. We ask $10 to help cover our costs.
