Hello Everybody! Join us this Saturday at 11 AM at the Fairfax Wegmans as we continue our Bible study and discussions. Recently, we've been studying the "types" (patterns or pictures) of Jesus in the Old Testament in chronological order starting with creation. We will go all the way to David as a type of Jesus the King. As anyone who's attended before knows, we have open discussions. Our goal is always to grow in our love, knowledge, and relationship with Jesus and to have fellowship. **Feminists unite**! *Join us for the very first meeting of ClubFeminist.* This inaugural gathering will be an opportunity for founding members (you!) to meet, get to know one another, and begin an open conversation about feminism, gender expectations, and what equality means in our lives today. This first event will focus on creating a welcoming space for thoughtful dialogue. We’ll introduce the vision for ClubFeminist, hear from attendees about what topics matter most to them, and discuss the kinds of conversations and events we’d like to build together. **Some questions we may explore:** • What does feminism mean to you? • What challenges do women still face today? • How can men be better allies in advancing equality? • What kinds of conversations or activities would you like this group to host? This is a **founding meeting**, so your voice will help shape the direction of the group moving forward. I started this group because I was surprised a space like this didn’t already exist locally. Conversations about equality feel more important than ever, and this group is meant to be a place where they can happen openly and thoughtfully. Every Sunday afternoon before church, one of the Covenant Life Church prophetess' hosts a prophetic training class that activates participants in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. During this class, participants will be provided opportunity to be taught how to use the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and will have opportunity to ask questions and talk with someone who has been used in the Gifts during ministry. Teaching is provided on the gifts with emphasis on the Gift of the Prophecy. A combination of lecture and experiential learning is employed to teach, guide and instruct the participants. Everyone is welcome, all classes are free. Childcare is not provided.
