Frisbee – Passen üben & spielen
Wir treffen uns auf der Rentenwiese zum Frisbee-Passen. Egal ob du noch nie eine Scheibe geworfen hast oder schon Routine hast – wir üben zusammen die Würfe (Backhand, Forehand, Fangen). Wenn wir Lust haben und genug Leute da sind, spielen wir danach noch ein lockeres Game.
Kein Leistungsdruck, einfach Bewegung, frische Luft und gute Leute. Direkt am See – wer mag, springt zwischendurch rein. Alle Levels willkommen. Scheiben sind da, bring gern eine eigene mit, wenn du hast.

We meet up on the Rentenwiese to practice throwing frisbee. Whether you've never thrown a disc or you're already comfortable – we'll practice the throws (backhand, forehand, catching) together. If we're up for it and there are enough of us, we'll play a relaxed game afterwards.
No pressure, just movement, fresh air and good people. Right by the lake – jump in for a swim if you feel like it. All levels welcome. Discs provided, feel free to bring your own if you have one.

This 60-minute class is designed as a post-work recovery practice, specifically supporting the body and mind after long hours of sitting and desk-based work.

The practice supports better posture, improves hip and shoulder mobility, and strengthens the muscles responsible for healthy alignment and stability. It helps release accumulated tension commonly stored in the neck, shoulders, hips, and lower back.
Overall, this is a grounding practice designed to offset the physical strain of desk work and support long-term well-being, posture, and recovery.
After the practice, we’ll move to the cozy chill area for a relaxed social hour. It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and build genuine connections.

Let's practice Russian language (A1-A2 level)

This meetup is for those who are starting to speak or want to refresh their abilities in speaking. I am a Russian language teacher and will help you during this event. The event repeats twice a month.
There is a fee of 10 CHF for the event.
We will play word or board games, read poems, guess what a proverb or an idiom means and I might come up with other activities. If you have any suggestions let me know.
You should be able to express yourself a bit and know some basics in Russian. It won't work for complete beginners.
We will meet in the restaurant&bar of the Ibis Styles Hotel not far from Zurich HB.

KIDS Summer Art Camp
This special holiday program is perfect for children who love being creative and want to try out different techniques. Inspired by the "All You Can Eat" principle, you can create as much as you like within your booked time.
What can you create?
During the summer holidays, you'll have a wide range of creative activities to choose from. You can focus on one technique or try several.
Manga Drawing (1.5 hrs) \*starts at 1:00 pm\*
Learn step-by-step how to draw manga characters. You'll learn the basics of manga faces, eyes, and proportions, and you can create your own character.
Pottery (2-3 hrs)
Shape a small bowl, mini vase, or figurine with your hands! I'll show you how!
Acrylic Painting (2 hrs)
Paint your own picture with acrylic paints on canvas. Whether it's cute animals, food illustrations, or summer scenes – let your imagination run wild!
Coloring (0.5 hrs)
Perfect for relaxing between other projects. Choose a template or create your own design and experiment with colors.
Decoding (0.5 - 1 hr)
In this popular technique, you decorate objects with a creamy paste and cute decorative elements. For example, cases, mirrors, or small boxes. The finished piece needs to dry overnight in the studio and can be picked up the next day. (max 3)
Punch Needle (1 - 2 hr)
Using yarn and a special needle, you create textured patterns and small textile artworks. This technique is easy to learn and especially fun.
Crochet Tote Bag (1 hr)
Using simple crochet techniques, you can make a small bag or accessory from yarn.
Design Jewelry & Keychains (0.5 - 1 hr)
Create your own bracelets, pendants, or small gifts.
Hand Lettering & Greeting Card Design (1 - 1.5 hr)
Learn beautiful lettering and design personalized cards – perfect for birthdays or short messages.
Nail Design (1 hr)
You can also get creative with your nails. For hygiene reasons, please bring your own nail file and nail polish.

Start in front of the Opera, run until "Zollikerberg, Trichtenhausermühle" and back.
The track is around 5K one way, has just under 200m elevation and can be run – go and back – in a little bit over an hour... at least that's how long it takes me.
I will only go, if it is not raining.
*Please be on time.*
Recharge with forest and river vibes. Escape the city but without having to go far.

ZH3 Hash # 1738: Cum Spiel with me
Beat the heat on this weeks Hash by escaping the bustle and hustle of the concrete Jungle of downtown Zurich. Trail will be laid NEAR exclusively in the shaded foresty areas around Witikon, starting from Robinsons Spielplatz.
If all goes well, and it always does, circle will be followed by a good old grillin and chillin session at the big grill spot. Bring your own sausage, a massive cooler will be provided to keep anything safe until the time calla for fire.
**Where**:
See location. Typically within Zurich Zone 10. Look for English speakers wearing running gear.
**When:**
We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm.
There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards.
**All Welcome:**
If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know:
• We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful.
• The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun.
• 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further.
• The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time.
• There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change.
• **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards.
**Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?**
If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it.
'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.*
We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups.
