Every week since 2022, we have featured nude model poses, both in short and long poses. At the beginning, we have short poses (2, 3, 5, 15 minutes), then two 30-minute sessions. Between blocks, we have 5-10-minute breaks to refresh and socialize with tea and cookies. I'm really excited to announce our next Meet Up event. It will take place at Core studio in Rennweg Rennweg 12, 8001 Zurich. Designed to strengthen, release and stretch muscle tensions, conditioning your body by increasing your range of motion and flexibility as well as overcoming back pain; improving your posture and circulation so you can exercise more efficiently, whilst keeping your body injury free. Whether you're just getting started or want to try something new, this class is about visual exploration without any level pressure. Together, we’ll swap the fear of getting it wrong for the fun of discovering what’s possible. In the drawing days, we’ll cover the basics like shapes, shading, and perspective, and try out approaches like still life, improvisation, and life drawing. 12 Drawing/Printmaking Sessions This is an art class that brings together the freedom of drawing and the playfulness of printmaking! We are a real world Martial arts group. \ Called DO JUNG ISHU (the art of fighting) \ Based off of Jeet kune do we just continued where Bruce Lee left off. \ We have been around a while. \ We are donation based. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude.
