***MIITTI’s Principles for safer space:***
MIITTI wants to nourish a safe and pleasant environment for everyone, where everyone can feel safe as themselves. By joining as a volunteer, employee or participant of the event or activity, you agree to follow the guidelines below
*Non-discrimination*
I do not make assumptions about people based on their external characteristics or names. I treat all participants with respect, and I don’t use language or take actions that discriminate based on race, gender, sexuality, disability, age, religion, or any other characteristic. I respect pronouns and names.
*Boundaries*
I respect others' personal space and boundaries, both physical and mental. I acknowledge that I cannot know someone else's boundaries without asking first. I ask before touching. I listen to others and adapt my behavior if someone indicates that my behavior makes them feel uncomfortable.

These sessions are **for those who are considering joining the regular weekly group.** You’ll always have space to ask questions and decide whether you’d like to participate.

The quality of the workshops depends on mutual presence, respect, and continuity within the group.
**:Through Our Lens:**
Through Our Lens is a community-focused photography series combining empowerment photography, identity exploration, and creative storytelling. Using only everyday mobile phones, participants learn to notice, capture, and express their personal experiences through images.
The project aims to:
* Create meaningful social connections.
* Strengthen cross-cultural understanding
* Support integration through shared creative expression
* Empower migrants and refugees to tell their own stories
* Build community through participatory arts practices
Grounded in the principles of empowerment photography, the project centres participants as authors of their own narratives.
Through workshops, storytelling exercises, and a community exhibition, participants reflect on their daily life, belonging, hopes, roots, identities, and experiences of belonging.
Finally, with the help of reflective sharing circles, and a small exhibition, participants share these themes with other participants and to the public.

Sahaja Yoga meditation course in English
Welcome to join our Sahaja Yoga meditation meetings in English! The meetings are free of charge and you can just show up. The group consists of people of different ages and nationalities who have been meditating different periods of time. Newcomers are welcome at any time. We normally sit on chairs or on pillows on the floor, so there is no need to bring a mat and you can wear normal clothes.
Meditation means mental silence or thoughtless awareness. You are present here and now, but your mind is not bombarded by thoughts from the past or the future. In this state, you feel peace and joy, which are the essential elements of the present moment. With regular practice of meditation, it is possible to establish this state within us.
The group is lead by volunteers who are experienced and can offer guidance to get you started. We give a short introduction to the meditation and after that we do meditation exercises. We also give tips on how to meditate at home. After the meditation class, we have a cup of tea and there is time for questions.
Welcome! We hope to see you in our meditation meetings!

From First Impression to Response: Mastering the Stoic Mind
Join the *Helsinki Stoics* group for an evening of reflection on a simple but powerful Stoic insight:
**It’s not what happens to us that shapes our experience, but how we choose to see it.**
This meetup offers an open and welcoming space to explore how our thoughts, interpretations, and inner reactions influence how we experience everyday life. We will look at how the mind works moment by moment — and how Stoic philosophy helps us relate to our thoughts with more clarity and calm. Whether you’re new to Stoicism or already familiar with its ideas, this discussion is for anyone interested in self-reflection, perspective, and practical philosophy.
This time we’ll explore:
* First impressions — the immediate thoughts and reactions that arise automatically
* Buying into thoughts — how we sometimes treat those impressions as facts
* Reframing — learning to question and reshape our interpretations, rather than fighting events themselves
No prior knowledge of Stoicism is required — just curiosity about how perspective shapes experience.
**Note:** The discussion will be in English unless all participants prefer Finnish.
**--**
* Ajatuksiin tarttumista – miten alamme kohdella ensivaikutelmia tosiasioina

Vibe Coding Finland: March meetup, Vibe Design Hackathon with JCI Finland & MOW
Welcome to the **Vibe Design Hackathon**, hosted by **JCI Finland** and **MOW** in Helsinki!
**Who is this event for?**
This event is for all design-minded people - but you don’t need to be a designer to join. We’ll explore how AI tools can be used as part of the design process, and we encourage you to try out tools and workflows that are new to you.
The goal is to learn and network as much as it is to build. We’ll work in small teams formed on-site. You can propose an idea (please think in advance), and we’ll select a set of ideas to build together at the start of the evening.
Try to frame your idea as a **micro-SaaS / digital product** — something a small team could prototype and potentially turn into a lightweight product in two hours.
**What to bring**
* A working laptop
* Any AI tool access/licenses you want to use
* A flexible attitude and team spirit
**We offer**
* Workspace, Wi-Fi, and facilitation
* Snacks & drinks
**Schedule**

Sketchy Collective: Helsinki Drawing Meetup
**Welcome to Sketchy Collective!**
A relaxed and social drawing group for anyone who enjoys sketching — or just wants to give it a try.
\*\*\*
We meet **every Sunday at 15:00** in **Oodi Library**.
\*\*\*
**HOW TO FIND US**
We meet on the **top floor of Oodi Library**, on the stairs **opposite** the children’s area.
It's a good idea to **keep your sketchbook visible** so others can easily recognize that you're there for the sketching meetup. And if you’re a regular participant, making it clear that you're part of the sketching group can be very helpful for newcomers!
\*\*\*
**HOW IT WORKS**
At each meetup, attendees take turns being the model for a quick **10-minute sketch session**. One person poses, everyone else sketches, then we rotate.
\*\*\*
**WHAT TO BRING**
Pencils and paper (or any sketching tools you like).
No fees, no pressure. The only thing we ask is that everyone takes a turn posing for the group. You can sit however you feel comfortable — the 10 minutes go by quickly! Draw as much as you like, skip a round if you’re tired or just want to chat, and leave whenever it suits you. The event continues as long as there’s interest.
\*\*\*
**STAYING CONNECTED**
Due to issues with spam and advertising, the group has decided that **only people who have attended at least one meetup will be accepted into the WhatsApp group**. To be added, please ask other participants at the meetup — a few members have permission to approve new people, and at least one of them will likely be present.
\*\*\*
**SOCIAL MEDIA**
If you’d like to share your drawings from the meetup, you can send them via message on Facebook or Instagram, or use the Instagram collab function. We warmly encourage everyone to share their work and take part in building our international sketching gallery — together with artists from all the cities where Sketchy Collective meetups are organized.

Mitä Microsoft Agent 365 tarkoittaa Power Platform -ylläpitäjälle?
Mikko Koskinen, Forward Forever
Sessiossa puretaan konkreettisesti:
- Miten Agent 365 toimii keskitettynä agenttirekisterinä ja näkyvyytenä koko organisaation agentteihin
- Mitä Entra Agent ID tarkoittaa agenttien identiteetin, omistajuuden ja elinkaaren hallinnassa
- Mitä Power Platform -hallinnassa tulee ymmärtää Azure AI Foundry Control Planesta ja hybridien low-code / pro-code -agenttien hallinnasta
- Miten nykyisiä prosesseja (onboarding, hyväksyntä, valvonta, incident response, poistaminen) tulee päivittää agenttien skaalautuessa
- Miten Purview ja Defender laajentavat data- ja tietoturvakontrolleja agenttien toimintaan
Esityksen jälkeen ymmärrät paremmin, miksi perinteinen Power Platform -governance ei enää yksin riitä ja mitä konkreettisia muutoksia omaan hallintamalliin on syytä tehdä agenttien yleistyessä.

WordPress Automation with n8n
The WordPress Helsinki meetup group aims to bring people together of all skill levels, from beginners to WordPress professionals. WordPress Helsinki is purely organised by community volunteers, and operates under the WordPress code of conduct.
This month, we welcome Daniel Spycher to speak about WordPress automation with [n8n](https://n8n.io/).
In this talk, you will learn what n8n is and what you can use it for. We will also look at common risks and pitfalls. This is not just theory. You will see real examples that help you build your first workflows.
We start with simple tasks such data manipulation and creating posts through the WordPress REST API to more advanced logic and automation. AI also plays an important role and can be integrated into your workflows. While n8n can be used for many purposes, this talk focuses mainly on practical use cases for WordPress.
Daniel has been a WordPress developer and web designer for over 10 years. He enjoys building efficient systems and automating repetitive tasks. He is especially interested in tools that save time and reduce manual work.
See you there!

Making Moves: Small-Group Coaching for Women in Product

**Rev1 -- NEW SPACE**
**330 Rush Alley #100**

**What moves are you making?**
A promotion you’re working toward.
A role change you’re considering.
A bigger leadership opportunity.
A conversation that needs to happen.
A decision that’s been sitting in the back of your mind.
For our Q1 Women in Product Columbus event, we’re creating space to actually work through those moments.
**Making Moves** is an evening of focused, facilitated coaching conversations with experienced mentors from our local product community. This isn’t a panel. It’s not passive networking. It’s small-group dialogue designed to be thoughtful, practical, and worth your time.
Here’s how it will work:
• You’ll choose a topic that reflects what you’re navigating right now
• You’ll join a small coaching circle (5–7 participants)
• Each circle is led by a mentor who has lived experience in that area
• We’ll run two rounds so you can go deeper or explore a second conversation
### Coaching Topics:
• Communicating the Value of Your Work (or Team)
• Career Transitions & What’s Next
• Growing Into Leadership
• Staying Relevant as Technology (and AI) Changes
• Getting Alignment and Decisions from Leadership
Our goal is simple: you leave with clearer thinking, practical perspective, and at least one next step you feel confident about.
Space in each circle will be limited to keep conversations meaningful.
If this sounds like the kind of room you’ve been wanting to be in, we’d love to see you on March 10.

Quarterly Goals Reset for Product Professionals
One of the most valuable parts of this community is the opportunity to think out loud with other product professionals. This session is built for exactly that.
As we wrap up the quarter, it’s a great time to pause and reflect. What’s on track? What needs adjustment? Where could a small shift create bigger impact?
Join fellow product professionals for a focused, interactive conversation designed to help you recalibrate for the next quarter. You’ll have the opportunity to share where you are, hear how others are thinking through similar challenges, and gain fresh perspective you can bring back to your team and organization.
We’ll gather at 8:00AM, with discussion starting promptly at 8:15AM.

**Attendees:**
Don't have a game to show? Not a problem! All are welcomed and invited from all ages and backgrounds. The more we can have to play test our games the better!
**Developers:**
Do you have a game that you would like to get critical feedback on? Would you like an excuse to work on a game with other talented artists, programmers, musicians, designers, and writers? Digital, table-top, non-experienced developers, and the like are welcomed! We'll provide signage for your game to help others learn more about your work. Wifi, outlets, tables, and seats (though standing tables also) are available.
Come to the Prototype and Play workshop to collaborate and meet local game developers for an evening of epic and raw game play fun! Play works-in-progress, show off your own game, work with others to add polish to a game, or even lend your talents to other fellow developers.
Can use South Garage at the Gateway with a $5 voucher on your way out.
