Nature Journaling is designed to help you turn your field observations into confident drawings, even if you’ve never drawn before. The course leads you from basics of gesture drawing that allows you to express bird movement, through proportions to style, providing you with everything you need to keep a personal birdwatching journal – instead of just filling up pre-printed pages. We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome!
