Then you can download the MapMyRun app on your phone, login to the same account, and go to your bookmarked routes so you can follow along during the run. **POST-RUN:** We'll grab a drink and some food at Rocklands BBQ for those who are interested in sticking around. **WEATHER:** We won't run in the middle of a thunderstorm, but we'll still go if there's light rain. Many of us will plan to meet at the start time regardless and we can make a call then. Come out to a evening filled with fun board games at Aslin Beer Company in Herndon! We play a variety of games, including strategy, co-op, and party games! Always welcoming to people who are brand new to the hobby to those who have been playing for years! We will be meeting in the Izzi building (not the main taproom), as there is more table space there and is right next to where you can get food and drinks! Hikers are not guaranteed to get a ride to the trailhead from the carpool location. Carpooling is organized by the participants and they participate at their own risk. We will drive to the Shenandoah National Park, North Entrance. It is suggested that you stop at Dickey Ridge Visitors Center, which is shortly after entering the park on the right as there are no restrooms trailhead. Then drive to Lands Run Gap, which is on the right side of the parkway at about Mile Post 9. We will start our hike here. There are only about a dozen parking spaces in the lot, so, car pooling is recommended. Anyone wishing to meet us in the park, please be at the trailhead by 8:50 a.m. Entrance fee to Shenandoah National Park is $30 per car, to be shared by those in the car. If anyone in the car has a national park pass, such as Senior Pass, there is no fee for that car. EVERY TUESDAY @ 6:30 PM at Dudley's Sport and Ale! We're a FREE club for all those interested in both running and socializing. The SRC meets every Tuesday at 6:30 PM at Dudley's Sport and Ale in the Shirlington Village, in the back corner towards the outdoor patio, near the Shirlington Animal Hospital. The SRC was founded in 2009 by VA residents Mirentxu Meyer and Shirley Santos, for like-minded people with social interests. Inspired by our founders, the goals of SRC are to promote fitness and build a sense of community. With currently over 2,800 people who've joined over the years, the SRC meets every Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM at Dudley's Sport and Ale to run a 5K summer route (6K in the winter), and hosts a post-run happy hour by savoring the flavors of Shirlington’s Dudley's Sport and Ale and socializing! In addition to fostering a community and family feel, SRC brings its members together throughout the year with other neighborhood events, sport activities, and volunteer opportunities. We welcome all levels of runners, from the beginners to the experienced marathoner, at all ages, and from all locations. Join the RunDMV crew every Thursday night at **6:30pm** outside **Caboose Brewing Co.** in Vienna (520 Mill St. NE). We hit the W&OD Trail right behind the brewery for a **40-minute out-and-back run/walk**—go at your own pace, and when you hit 20 minutes, just turn around so we all finish together. No matter if you’re walking, jogging, or pushing the pace, you’ll have company out there. Each week we switch directions (east one week, west the next) to keep things fresh. After the run, we stick around for food and drinks at Caboose—because half the fun of run club is hanging out afterward. 🍻

Join us for two days point to point hiking on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal and more! Sunday we'll do between Brunswick and Monocacy Aqueduct, and Monday we'll head downstream from Monocacy Aqueduct. After meeting Sunday at 9 at the aqueduct, we will shuttle with as few vehicles as possible to the Holiday Inn. We start right from the hotel, and follow the Valley Trail system downhill through a pleasant gully to downtown Brunswick. Here, we'll cross the tracks and make our way onto the canal towpath to follow it to Monocacy Creek. The first day will feature lovely riverside scenery, historic canal locks, and two major aqueducts. We'll take side trips to the river along the way. We'll stay at the Holiday Inn, then the second day, we'll shuffle cars and hike between Monocacy Aqueduct and Sycamore Landing. Both places have little lunch stops along them if needed, but everyone should come prepared with plenty of water and food just in case. With the exception of under a mile through scenic downtown Brunswick, there is no road walking. The first day has only 5 road access points, and the second has only 4, and not all of these are crossings. This promises to be a beautiful, relaxing two days along the canal and Potomac River. Games night is back! With our favorite local game store opening back up, Games night will come back starting Monday June 7th! We are an lgbt+ games group that’s been going for nearly 3 years now! We welcome anyone in the lgbt+ community to come play board games every Monday with our fun and chaotic crew! If you’re brand new to board gaming and looking to make some friends or if you love playing 4 hour space operas and are looking to make some rivals, we’re the group for you! We are an lgbt+ group that focuses on creating a safe lgbt+ community. Non-lgbt+ individuals are welcome when attending with an lgbt+ friend, family member, or partner. Huzzah hobbies currently follows cdc guidelines, where customers who are vaccinated are allowed to not wear masks indoors. With their current hours on Mondays, they are open until 9pm; if they change hours and remain open later, games night will continue until close. Game night with a potluck, join us at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Reston on Wiehle Ave. for a game night and potluck. All are welcome there.
