¡ The Lighthorsemen ¡ by Simon Wincer @ Duncan Library
This Oddball Adventure is set in Palestine during World War I. British forces have dueled the Germans and Turks to a standstill, and the commanders are looking for a way to break the deadlock. An Australian Light Horse regiment is brought into the fray, but their mounts represent both an advantage and a vulnerability: water is scarce, with many of the sources controlled by the enemy. If the Aussies advance and canât secure a copious source of water for the horses, the result will be a catastrophe.

WORLD CUP: Mexico v England
It's a stormy Sunday night under the lights in more ways than one as hosts Mexico take on England from Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico, in a mouth-watering Round of 16 clash.
Mexico are one of only two teams who have not even conceded a goal thus far in the World Cup. El Tri breezed past South Africa 2-0, South Korea 1-0, and Czechia 3- 0 and followed it up with a 2-0 defeat of Ecuador. This is Mexico's 18th World Cup finals, with their best finishes being the quarterfinals in both the 1970 and 1986 tournaments - the two previous times the tournament was hosted in Mexico.
England has done an adequate job of doing enough, showing signs of the massive expectation. Group stage victories over Croatia and Panama, a draw with Ghana, were followed up by a 2-1 victory over a very game DR Congo
This is the 10th meeting between the two nations. England has emerged victorious on six of them. Mexico won two and one draw. England bested Mexico on their way to World Cup glory in 1966. In this stadium, they have met twice, one a win for Mexico, the other finished all square.
The winners of this one will face the winners of Brazil v Norway. We'll be meeting from 6:30 pm for this one to see who will score a spot in the quarterfinals - Join Us!
