Offener Deutschunterricht - Text & Konversation - Niveau B2+ (Fortgeschritten)
Offener Deutschunterricht - Text & Konversation - Niveau B2+ (Fortgeschritten)
Berlin AI Meetup
Berlin AI Meetup
Hi friends, We’re kicking off Berlin AI, a series of meetups for engineers, founders, product leaders, creatives, and operators who integrate AI into real products, workflows, and decision-making processes. We want to create a space for practical talks, real-world use cases, technical deep dives, and transparent discussions about what works (and what doesn’t). 📅 Join us on **May 12** for our first event. Let’s build the Berlin AI community together. 🗣 **Call for Proposals** If you’re building, applying, or experimenting with AI, we’d love to hear your story. Submit your talk via our [CFP form](https://forms.gle/pZumXNVp44Gj7k8k7) and take the stage at one of our upcoming meetups. **🕑 Event Schedule** 18:30 - Doors open 18:50 - Intro and announcements **19:00 - Opening: State of AI — [Tejas Kumar](https://www.linkedin.com/in/tejasq/)** **19:20 - Incident Response Reimagined: Accelerating Resolution with AI Agents** — **[Daniel Afonso](https://www.linkedin.com/in/danieljcafonso/)** 19:45 - Break **20:00 -** **Developer Workflows Shape the Future of AI Coding - [Juan Ibiapina](https://juanibiapina.dev/)** **20:25 - AI Agents Are Running Your Stack. Where Are the Guardrails?** — **[Daniel Kelleher](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kelleherdaniel/)** **20:50 -** **Open Mic talks** \- show your project\, open source work or a small demo of what you learned recently Mingle until 21:30 **🎙Hosted by** [Kim Ngan Le Dang](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kimc0de/), [Harshil Agrawa](https://www.linkedin.com/in/harshil1712/), [Tejas Kumar](https://www.linkedin.com/in/tejasq/) and [Bhargav Venkatesh Babu](https://www.linkedin.com/in/bhargavbrgv/) **🤝 Supported by** Huge thanks to our friends from[ Contentful](https://www.contentful.com/)! Contentful is a composable content platform that empowers teams to create, manage, and deliver digital experiences at scale. Developers use Contentful’s flexible APIs and modern tech stack to build fast, dynamic web and mobile applications, making it a popular choice for React.js projects and beyond. 🗣️ **Talks** ➡️ **Incident Response Reimagined: Accelerating Resolution with AI Agents - [Daniel Afonso](https://www.linkedin.com/in/danieljcafonso/)** *It’s 3:45 AM, and you get paged. Still half asleep, you reach for your laptop.* *Turns out something is wrong, so you acknowledge the incident and embark on a journey to figure out what is happening, mobilize the right people, and eventually fix the issue. But what if we could make it easier?* *In this talk, I’ll show how AI agents can help you fast-track triage, coordinate responses, debug problems, and run fixes.* *To wrap up, I will show how we can go even further and move from merely reacting to incidents to proactively preventing them. In the spirit of shifting left, let’s understand how we can track future incidents our code may cause, right before we commit it!* ➡️ **AI Agents Are Running Your Stack. Where Are the Guardrails? - [Daniel Kelleher](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kelleherdaniel/)** *AI agents are becoming autonomous system operators. Authentication alone isn’t enough. Agents need proper authorization.* *Guardrails are essential so agents can safely access APIs and tools.* ➡️ **Developer Workflows Shape the Future of AI Coding - [Juan Ibiapina](https://juanibiapina.dev/)** *This talk argues that lasting change will not come from hype or top-down mandates. It will come from the workflows developers choose, refine, and make real in daily work, reshaping how companies build software from there.* *** **👍 Code of Conduct** By registering for this event you agree to comply with our[ CoC](https://gitnation.org/coc) **📩 Contact** events@gitnation.org [https://x.com/AICodingSummit](https://x.com/AICodingSummit)

Let's Meet Up and Practice Languages
Let's Meet Up and Practice Languages
(Inside event) Are you learning a language but can't find people to practice with? Do you enjoy helping people speak your native language? If so, meet with us to make friends and have some good conversations. We begin by sharing the languages we speak fluently and the ones we are learning. Then we split into groups and speak! You can switch groups as often as you'd like. The goal is to speak about interesting, thought-provoking topics - not just the typical introductions we usually make. At our last meetups we spoke: German, Ukranian, English, French, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Arabic, Norwegian, Icelandic, and Dutch. Can you help us make this list bigger? We hope to see you there and welcome ANY and ALL languages. (However, we cannot guarantee we will have a speaking partner for all languages). Looking forward to see you all! 😁
[HYBRID] [May] Golang Meetup
[HYBRID] [May] Golang Meetup
Hello Gophers, Welcome back for another year of Go talks and networking! Would your company like to host our meetup? Let us know! If you'd like to give a talk - submit your proposals here: http://goo.gl/forms/54YvJT223F All talk formats work: short talks (5-10 min) as well as regular length (25 min). If you have more ideas - talk to us at the Gophers slack: https://invite.slack.gobridge.org/ in the #berlin channel, and follow us on twitter: https://twitter.com/gdgberlingo **Speakers**: *Simon Schulte* is a Tech Lead with nearly a decade of experience building scalable backend systems across fast-paced product companies. With a background in business informatics and a passion for Golang, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps, he has spent his career solving complex engineering challenges. He is particularly excited about leveraging AI and LLM workflows to eliminate the tedious, repetitive work that slows developers down — think tech debt, boilerplate, and documentation — so engineers can spend their energy on what actually moves the needle. For Simon, AI isn't about replacing developers; it's about giving them back their time. *Daniel Peralta Madriz* is a backend engineer from Costa Rica with around 6 years of experience working with Golang, although, sadly, he's been spending most of his time lately working with Node.js :(. He is interested in distributed systems, scalability, and developer experience, and is currently experimenting with how to leverage LLMs to safely and autonomously execute repetitive tasks. *Michael Morgen* is a Platform/infra engineer by day, runtime and network optimizations by night. Join in person at: **Talon. One** Talon. One is the incentives engine behind 300 of the world’s most-loved brands, unifying loyalty and promotions on a single flexible platform. In this talk, we’ll walk through how to design deterministic workflows around non-deterministic models using Go. From structured iteration loops to validation steps and guardrails, you’ll learn how to move beyond prompting and start engineering reliable LLM-powered systems 8:10 PM: Announcements and break Announcements, HR lost & found, open mic 8:30 PM: Talk 2: About Go Memory Allocator / Michael Morgen, Platform/infra engineer @ Mirantis A short talk about how Go gives memory to your program. We will look at the main allocator parts, why small allocations are usually fast, when Go asks the OS for more memory, and a couple of simple examples where this knowledge helps performance. 9:05 PM: Networking Networking over drinks and food *** Hosted By Natalie Pistunovich, Organizer Ole Bulbuk, Organizer Tim Scheuermann, Organizer Anderson Queiroz, Organizer Complete your event RSVP here: https://gdg.community.dev/events/details/google-gdg-berlin-golang-presents-hybrid-may-golang-meetup-1/.

Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs. This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context.
