Milan Startup Beach Volley - Founders & Rebels #9
**This club is for founders, VCs, operators, and startup ecosystem players — past, present, and future.**
Beach volleyball is deceptively chaotic. No walls, no ceiling, an unpredictable surface underfoot. Every rally is a small crisis — and then you reset, serve again, and trust your partner.
Sound familiar?
Six people, one ball, zero margin for ego. Beach volley punishes solo heroics and rewards teams that communicate fast, cover each other's blind spots, and stay calm when the sand shifts beneath them. Which is basically co-founding in the sun.
Whether you've played seriously or haven't touched a volleyball since school, come for the rallies, the dives, and the kind of conversations that only happen when everyone's a little sweaty and no one's checking their phone.
No pitch decks. No panels. Just sets, spikes, and real talk with people who get the startup life.
**🎯 What to Expect**
**Mixed-Level Games** — We play with at least 6 people per court. Got a bigger crew? We rotate and run a mini-tournament. All levels welcome. First time on sand? Perfect.
**Founder-to-Founder Connections** — Meet fellow founders, VCs, angels, and operators in a setting where hierarchy dissolves in the heat.
**The Rally Effect** — The best conversations happen between points. Bring energy, not a script.
**Competitive but Chill** — Good plays, better laughs, and a rematch culture. 🔄
**💸 €10 per person** — Pay before the game: [paypal.me/alexbing2](https://paypal.me/alexbing2?utm_source=luma)
Payment upfront helps confirm your spot is real and keeps the group reliable — no last-minute dropouts, no half-empty courts. Arrive 15 minutes early to warm up and meet the crew.
**⚠️ Cancellation Policy** If you can't make it, please cancel at least 2 days before the event — there's always a waiting list and someone who'd love your spot. No-shows without notice will be moved to the waiting list for future events and forfeit their €10 deposit.

## What we’re about
Buongiorno a tutti. Cerco persone serie e disposte solamente a divertirsi, senza puntare mazzette grazie mille.

Data-as-Context: Abilitare l'Agentic AI
🔍 **Description**

Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit - Barret Blake
Spec-driven development flips the traditional workflow on its head: instead of code being the source of truth, the specification becomes the backbone of design, collaboration, and delivery. In this session, we’ll explore how GitHub Spec-Kit enables teams to treat specifications as first-class artifacts—living documents that drive architecture, implementation, and verification.
You’ll learn how Spec-Kit helps teams clearly express intent using structured, version-controlled specs that live alongside code. We’ll walk through a practical workflow that starts with defining system behavior and constraints, then progressively refines those specs into testable, automatable outcomes. Along the way, we’ll show how specs can reduce ambiguity, improve cross-functional collaboration, and make design decisions explicit before a single line of production code is written.
This talk will cover:
--What spec-driven development is (and what it isn’t)
--How GitHub Spec-Kit fits into modern developer workflows
--Using specs to align product, engineering, and AI-assisted development
--Real-world examples of turning specs into implementations with confidence
Whether you’re building greenfield systems, integrating AI into your stack, or trying to reduce costly rework, spec-driven development offers a scalable way to move faster without sacrificing clarity. Attendees will leave with concrete patterns and a clear mental model for adopting GitHub Spec-Kit in their own projects.

The Dolly Sods Wilderness is a U.S. Wilderness Area in the Allegheny Mountains of eastern West Virginia and is part of the Monongahela National Forest (MNF) and one of the most desirable trekking areas in the US.
Dolly Sods is a rocky, high-altitude plateau with sweeping vistas and flora and fauna normally found much further north in Canada. A backpacking trip in this area will expose you to a very diverse and unique landscape with sphagnum bogs, grassy meadows lined by spruce trees, wind-carved boulders, and beautiful mountain vistas.
Note - this area can have very unpredictable weather. I've had everything from sunshine, to heavy rain, to even snow and hail as late as May. Pack accordingly.
**Trail Details:**
We will meet at The Vienna Metro station on Saturday morning at 8am and drive to the Red Creek Trailhead at the southern end of the Dolly Sods wilderness. The drive is about 3 hours - I will drive and am happy to have up to 3 others carpool with me.
When we arrive at the trailhead, we will hike about 6.3 miles to our campsite, stopping once to check out the the iconic Lion's Head on Breathed Mountain (pictured in the post). Should be an early day, so feel free to bring cards, adult beverages, or other items to pass the time. The second day, we will explore the rest of the park, which includes the rugged Dunkenbarger trail. The second day is about 9.4 miles back to the car. There are a ton of stream crossings on this trip - so expect to get wet and pack accordingly.
