Run starts promptly at 9:45 am and follows a 1.5 mile loop around the lake. Do however many loops you like! Run at your own pace. After the run, we'll meet at the Brew House for a beer or coffee and BREAKFAST pretzels! Those cannot be anything but delicious. See you there.

Join Women & Gender eXpansive Coders DC for brunch at Union Market! We will get a large picnic table outside the main Union Market building. Come for 30 minutes or for the whole time. Meet fellow tech women and nonbinary folx over a cup of coffee or a meal from one of Union Market's many tasty restaurants. Getting there: Union Market is a short walk from the NoMa-Gallaudet University metro (Red line). Parking is usually available in the lot in front of the market, or on the street, although street parking can fill up on busy weekends.

**FOR BEGINNERS** If you've ever seen Korean movies or shows, you may have seen characters play with small red cards decorated with flowers and animals. Those cards are called "hwatu" or flower cards. The most popular game played with hwatu is "Go-Stop". Come to this next Hwatu Hangout (Wisteria Edition!), and learn how to play Go-Stop. It can take some time to orient yourself with the cards and rules, but once you do, there's no turning back. It's major fun. **FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS** No Tazza-style deck rigging and, most importantly, *no gambling*. We will play with plastic chips to raise the faux stakes, but that's it! We meet on Sundays at 8 a.m. for training runs on some of DC's best trails, including Rock Creek Park and the surrounding area. We typically meet at either Peirce Mill in Rock Creek Park, or Roosevelt Island, depending on the route. **Discover a hidden gem at the heart of DC!** Glover Archbold Park runs parallel to the better-known Rock Creek Park, stretching from Tenleytown to the C&O Canal in Georgetown. As you scramble over rocks and navigate rushing streams, you’ll forget that you’re right in the middle of the city. We’ll be hiking around 5 miles out and back, with a stop midway at the C&O Canal for a bite to eat. This hike is part of a series focused on exploring transit-accessible green spaces in the DMV.
