**If you plan on attending lessons or borrowing equipment please let us know in the comments below. If you do not comment for a spot in lessons or for equipment by Thursday we will ask you to come back another day.** YOU KNOW THE DRILL!!! We'll have our usual practice at Needwood Lake at 1pm until we get tired. And as per usual, dinner will follow to whoever wants to come! Just walk right up and say hi! We'll be having our introductory lesson starting promptly at 2pm going until 4pm. You can bring your own equipment, or are welcome to borrow some. Though our arsenal is limited, we will do our best to get a bow into everyone's hands during this period. Availability is is first-come-first serve, with priority going to new attendees and people participating in lessons. If you are bringing a +1 please include their name in the comment. If you, or your +1 are under 18 years old, please include the ages of the participant(s) in the comments.* Latecomers to lessons will be asked to come back another day. We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Hey everyone — We are moving up our start time to 8 am for our Saturday Meetups at Riverside HS. Let's plan on playing for two hours every Satruday until we move back to Dominion HS around June 1. Join us for our weekly Herndon Tennis Refugees meetup! We’re a drama-free doubles crew for experienced, competitive players (USTA high 3.0–4.0). Come rally, connect, and have fun. No line-call drama or cutthroat battles. Fair play is the baseline. When the old Meetup vanished like a botched overhead, we were stranded like tennis orphans. So we made something better: scrappier, smarter, and shockingly organized. We turned chaos into kick serves and awkward goodbyes into solid backhands. If you’re returning—welcome home. If you’re new—nice upgrade. **The rundown:** * We start with 2 courts (8 players). * If full, **join the Waitlist**—at 12 RSVPs, we add a 3rd court; at 16, a 4th. * Rotating doubles. Friendly, flexible, and fun. * Events open Sundays at 8 am and fill fast. * Frequent late cancellations (within 36 hrs) are discouraged. We may ask you to find a sub or limit your future participation. The old group left us at the baseline. Now? We’re charging the net. 🎾

Clinic designed for beginner to lower intermediate players looking to improve stroke technique, footwork, and consistency. Great for players tying to get into live ball environment quick. These clinics are led by a former European junior competitive tennis player with more than 10 years of coaching experience. The sessions emphasize live ball training, movement, and match play situations to help players develop skills in realistic point scenarios. This session focuses on live points and match situations to help players develop strategy and confidence in real match play. Players rotate through competitive drills and games.
