Oracular Collage Exhibition – Opening Night
The exhibition **Oracular Collage** is a magical invitation: each viewer is invited to access messages for their own life through the artworks. Life is symbolic, and when we are fully present, these messages emerge like letters from the Universe. With studies based on Tarot archetypes, magic, and symbolism, the art reveals itself as a living oracle, unfolding through the senses of those who contemplate it. In this exhibition, the artist revisits feelings and symbols, and presents a series of collages and mixed mídia artwork created in Brazil and Germany over a period of ten years.
**Vanessa D. Neuber** is a Brazilian artist and curator based in Berlin. With a background in design, art history, and analytical psychology, with an emphasis on mythology, storytelling, and arts, she explores artistic creation as a path to self-knowledge, building bridges between words and images, the visible and the hidden, the dreamlike and the everyday. Her artistic research dialogues with philosophy, quantum physics, symbolism, mindfulness, migration, and feminism. Fascinated by mystery and unanswered questions, she seeks to destabilize certainties and imagine new worlds, inviting the public to experience art as living matter: vital, necessary, and transformative.
Meet Your Creative Monsters - Breathwork & Sharing session
This gathering is part of an ongoing exploration of creative block and the strange inner patterns that often interfere with the creative process. In the Poetic Toolbox we sometimes call these patterns creative monsters — the voices, doubts, and protective mechanisms that show up when we try to make something meaningful.
During the evening we’ll explore these ideas through a mix of conversation, reflection, and a gentle embodiment practice designed to reconnect with the body and creativity from a calmer place.
You don’t need to have attended previous sessions to join. Curiosity about your own creative process is enough.
Toward the end of the evening we’ll move into a light breathwork and visualization practice, followed by a quiet moment of creative integration and sharing.
If you’re planning to join, please bring:
• a yoga mat
• something to cover your eyes (eye mask or scarf)
• a small pillow or neck support
• a light blanket in case you get chilly
Looking forward to exploring this together.

Find the Essential Story of Your Family Tree! (First Steps in Metagenealogy)
Please join us at New Pages to take your first steps in discovering the essential story of your family tree.
Using the book *Metagenealogy: Self-Discovery through Psychomagic and the Family Tree* (Jodorowsky and Costa) as a guiding text, the hosts will help you put together the initial draft of your family tree so that you might learn the essential story you tell and live out in your life. You will then learn the next steps you should take to more fully fill out this story and to make the family tree your ally rather than your enemy.
Metageneaology seeks to combine art and science in order to help people create for themselves a meaningful life.
Why is this important? We all are in the process of living out some type of story we tell ourselves. Often, this story isn't something we created completely on our own, but is passed down to us via the family tree. It is important that we not only become aware of this story, but that we feel i*n control of it* rather than *being* *controlled by it*.
Please join us for the first ever session in this work that we have found immensely help for our own selves.
A note: please complete no preparatory work on your tree before the event. You need only bring yourself and perhaps your favorite pen.
Attendance is limited to 9 people to allow for adequate time to focus on the discovery and building of each person's tree. Please, if you RSVP and then change your mind, change your status so that another person might be able to join.
*The event is free, but a modest donation helps us continue to offer events in the future.*

Drawing Cafe [#11] Coffee & Sketching in Berlin
We meet and sketch each other in Berlin. This is just an art gym that we also exercise our social skills. Afterwards usually we go for lunch as a group.
**How Does It Work?**
This event is simple, we meet and sketch each other doing portraits. Most of the participants use pencils or watercolors. Main aim is to socialize while we draw. There will be plenty of time to talk and get to know each other. We have to mention that this event is suitable for all levels. Many have started to draw in our event actually.
**Structure**
A. Warmup Phase: We pose to each other for 1 minute.
B. Main Phase: We pose to each other for 10 minutes.
C. Showcase Phase: We show some of the drawings we did to each other.
**Who We Are**
Creative Sessions is an art events group located in Berlin.
**Is it Free?**
The event is free of charge.
It is advisable to get a drink though. This is a cafe, we need to have at least half of the people on each table with a drink. They accept only cash and most hot drinks cost from 2.50 to 3.50.
**How to help or donate?**
The event is provided for free but many people help this be a regular thing. We also need people to volunteer and help for minor tasks like the serving of the drinks or cleaning up. Just send us a message.
If you want to donate and keep this event from happening, via Paypal to the host (Miltos) :
https://ko-fi.com/miltosthings/

A Women’s Circle & Watercolour Workshop
## **What Does Equality Look Like?** *A Women’s Circle & Watercolour Workshop*
In this intimate two-hour women’s circle, we will gather to create, reflect, and connect through watercolour painting inspired by vintage feminist posters and historic movements such as the Women's March and International Women's Day.
We’ll begin by exploring powerful imagery and messages from past feminist struggles. Together, we’ll reflect on the fights that came before us, the freedoms we’ve inherited, and the work that still remains.
Through guided prompts and open conversation, you’ll be invited to share:
* Your personal relationship with feminism
* The women and movements that shaped you
* What equality means in your life today
* Your hopes for the future
Then, using watercolours, you’ll create your own vision of *Future Feminism* — whether that’s a symbolic poster, a soft imagined landscape of equality, powerful words layered in colour, or an abstract expression of freedom.
This workshop is not about artistic perfection. It is about expression, connection, memory, and possibility.
Let's meet and create together! Meaningful conversation and art as a way to resist, fight and create!
**When:**

Art Night - Bring Your Own Work
Welcome to the Art School - 20's & 30's artists Meetup group! This is a community for young artists who are passionate about exploring different mediums and techniques in the world of art. Whether you're a painter, sculptor, photographer, or mixed media artist, this group is the perfect place to connect with like-minded individuals, have a space to work on your craft, and showcase your work. Let's inspire and support each other on our artistic journeys! Whether you're a novice or a seasoned artist, all skill levels are welcome. Join us and unleash your creativity!
This month we will be discussing **Frank Santoro**, an American cartoonist, painter, and comics critic known for his expressive lines, experimental page layouts, and vibrant use of color. His graphic novels—including *Storeyville*, *Pompeii*, and *Pittsburgh*—blend personal storytelling with innovative visual structure, often exploring memory, place, and relationships. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists.
Afterwards, we will have time to work on our individual art projects, hang out, and if anyone is interested in feedback on their work, there will be time for that as well.
Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves"
Speak Easy: true stories, told live.
The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast.
Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!
NFT AI ART Columbus
NFT's are here to stay folks!
This is a group for like minded people interested in understanding, leveraging, using, creating for, profiting from, trading too i suppose, NFT's.. everything around them, complexity, fear and exploits, best practices and more.
**PLUS**
This group will talk AI ART tools, techniques, artists, video, audio, prototypes and more in the AI assisted production space- ART specifically, but we can get into any aspect of some of the cooler things happening in AI in general.
Using Philosophy to Cope with Current Events
So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels. Hope to see you on March 28th!
