UXDX Community Copenhagen: When Interfaces Talk, When They Don’t
UXDX Community Copenhagen: When Interfaces Talk, When They Don’t
**Important:** * Please sign up on the following website to complete your sign up: https://uxdx.com/community/community-copenhagen-2026-03-18/ An in-person series of meetups focused on helping product & engineering teams in Copenhagen bridge the gap between UX, Product, Design, and Dev, and to build better products faster, together. **Agenda:** **16:45 – 17:00 Registration & Networking** **17:00 – 17:10 Welcome, intro to UXDX and Ambassador - Tasha** **17:10 – 17:25 Host Introduction - Kristoffer (Famly) + Q&A on Famly** **17:25 – 17:50 Talk 1 (Stefani Vujic) + Q&A** **17:50 – 18:20 Pizza & Networking** **18:30 – 18:55 Talk 2 (Mareike Bonitz) + Q&A** **18:55 - 19:15 Closing & Networking** ## **✹ Talks** **Talk by** **Stefani Vujic - The fall and rise of conversational content design.** These days, everyone wants to be conversational. E-commerce, medtech, fintech, all the techs. If you’re a corporate brand, it seems like you’ll do anything to not sound like it. Instead, a trend to “level with our customers” and “speak our users’ language” appears to dominate. In this talk, we'll examine why one of UX writing's favourite frenemies is so devilishly difficult to execute well. Spoiler: Real conversations are spontaneous, situational and physical – basically everything computers are not. So when should interfaces chat, when should they shut up and how do we tell the difference? **Talk by Mareike Bonitz - How to make your whole organization understand and support Product work** In this talk, the audience will receive concrete examples of bringing Product principles closer to other teams. How can we make the whole company be more data-driven, validate their hypotheses before executing, understand the why, work more cross-functionally? The talk should inspire and give a hands on toolbox for bringing more Product sense to everyone. ## **About UXDX** UXDX helps teams shift from project based delivery to empowered, autonomous product teams. We host global conferences and over 150 free community events each year, bringing together UX, Product, Design and Development practitioners to share how real teams build better products faster.

Time for improv fun!
Time for improv fun!
Welcome for some fun improv games together :) About us: We are a bunch of people of all ages and backgrounds, gathering to share the common passion for improv. Improvisation, or Improv for short, is a form of live theatre in which the story, characters and scenes are without a script and made up in the moment, completely different every time. The actors are acting, directing themselves, writing the plot and interacting with each other all at the same time without previous planning. Improvisation can help you with your social and business skills by training your mind to think quickly and react to unexpected situations. In Improvisation, there are no lines to memorize and you play off other creatively challenged fun-loving, global-minded people who loves laughing at themselves. It’s a great way to socialize and make new friends. It’s a welcoming atmosphere, we want you to join in the fun, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced improviser – come and lets enjoy together! We usually start with some warm-ups that help us relax, listen and focus. Then we move on to doing different kinds of short scene fun games with each other, making characters, stories and our small worlds. In improv mistakes are welcome and you will have goooood times! We charge 50 kr in advance in order to cover our expenses. Swish is king! See you very soon ;) Please come only if you are in good health! P.S. You can also follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/themiip

Cozy social Noggie Invasion run/jog/walk
Cozy social Noggie Invasion run/jog/walk
Come join us for a run/jog/walk in Sydhavn Note this trail will start earlier so our visitors can make it back to their ferry. We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in “about us”. How it works: we don’t know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10km trail for runners with shortcuts down to approximately 5 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize. Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 18:30 Don’t worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed since 1980, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 10 to 30 people) just show up. Four-legged friends are welcome! We never cancel. See you there! On On,
Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday for Jane Austen’s *P*e*rsuasion.* We were quite a large crowd, but managed still to have a meaningful exchange. Thanks to Xinxin for suggesting the book. The next book to read, by popular demand, is American novelist [Zora Neale Hurston](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zora_Neale_Hurston)’s novel *[Their Eyes Were Watching God](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/37415.Their_Eyes_Were_Watching_God?ac=1&from_search=true&qid=UYWpFV2l9H&rank=1)* from 1937. Set in Florida in the early 20th century, the novel is a coming-of-age story that follows a young girl, Janie Crawford, on her journey of searching for herself, her own voice and independence. A review of the book reads: *Out of print for almost thirty years - due largely to initial audiences’ rejection of its strong black female protagonist - Hurston’s classic has since its 1978 reissue become perhaps the most widely read and highly acclaimed novel in the canon of African-American literature.* You can read the book [here](https://books.apple.com/dk/book/their-eyes-were-watching-god/id1570302263?l=da). It is, of course, also available as an [audiobook](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL79XEuIN26cIyEzvKcVc676mx1vMaQEdo&si=4JfJa9mW0nzSr1l1). You can also watch it, so to speak, as there’s a TV movie version from 2005 featuring Halle Berry [available as well](https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9ck3tc). For other resources on how to get a hold of classic books, please see the *About us* section on the front page of the group [here](https://www.meetup.com/copenhagen-classic-book-book-club/?eventOrigin=home_groups_you_organize). We meet up on Saturday, March 21st, at 4 p.m. The location will, once again, be the Fireplace Lounge at 25hours Hotel in Pilestréde 65. I think we really found the perfect future place for the book club at the Fireplace Lounge. If you want to read more about 25hours Hotels and their hospitality towards culture and community, you can do so [here](https://25hours-hotels.com/about-us/). There is a 10% discount on drinks on the bar, just mention the discount to the staff. Also, please remember to bring your suggestion for the next classic book to read. And, please, as always, be mindful and respectful of each other, so that everyone feels respected and appreciated. In the meantime, happy reading/listening/watching or however you do it.

The Graduate
The Graduate
This 1967 film is widely regarded as one of the best American movies ever made. Now remembered almost as much for its Simon and Garfunkel music as its deadpan comedy and being the role that established Dustin Hoffman as the hottest actor in Hollywood. It became a cultural icon for capturing the spirit of 60s angst of a young man on the make, while garnering a batch of Oscar nominations. After watching the movie on your own, join us to relive (or experience!) those feelings at our discussion.

Disc Tues / Choose Your Movie: TOW vs THEY WILL KILL YOU at the Gateway!
Join us as we get together for a Discount Tuesday / Choose Your Movie event to see your choice of the top-reviewed indie drama TOW or the action-comedy-horror THEY WILL KILL YOU! A winner either way! Here are details, trailer and plan for this event: TOW: This drama follows a homeless Seattle woman who fights her way out of tow-company hell to reclaim her life and the car that held it all together after receiving a tow bill for $21,634. The film is directed by Stephanie Laing and stars Rose Byrne, Dominic Sessa, Demi Lovato, Ariana DeBose, Octavia Spencer, Simon Rex, Elsie Fisher and Corbin Bernsen. Tow premiered to rave reviews at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival where critics declared, “Tow is a winner” and called the film “a story of perseverance, heart, and real fight, the kind of small human story we see less frequently these days, but need now more than ever!” TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiUtqgeDVI8 THEY WILL KILL YOU: A woman takes a job as a housekeeper in a NYC high-rise, unaware of the building's history of disappearances. She soon realizes the community is shrouded in mystery. The film is directed by Kirill Sokolov and Zadie Beetz, Myha'la, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette. The film is being released immediately following its premiere at this year’s SXSW Festival earlier this month. TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYqQPiXpi4w PLAN: We’ll plan for a 7pm-ish showing of both films and will meet in the upstairs lobby area about 30 minutes before showtime! Once showtimes are announced, advance ticket purchase via the GFC website is advised! Once you have yours, please list your movie of choice and seat number in the Comments section of this event. Complete details will be confirmed/announced as the date gets closer. PARKING: Close, convenient parking is available in the nearby garage (located between 9th and 11th, just off High St). Bring your ticket with you and have it validated at the theater and for $2, you’re covered for the night! Look forward to seeing you there, Dan

The Unix philosophy emphasizes simplicity, modularity, and the idea that programs should do one thing well and work together. However, CLI programs are primarily used by humans. Programs that you actually enjoy using can achieve both of these aims of composability and human-centeredness. This talk explores what makes CLIs great: fast, trusted, and delightful. Through real-world examples from modern tools like uv, cargo, ripgrep, and GitHub CLI, you'll learn the design patterns that separate good CLIs from great ones. Whether you're building package managers, creating developer tools, or just curious why modern CLIs feel so much better, you'll leave with a practical checklist of techniques to apply to any CLI tool you build. **Agenda:** 7:00pm - Opening announcements 7:10pm - Opening Topic - Build an AI-powered, Sassy Speaking Plant 7:25pm - Main Topic - Designing Delightful CLIs with Python 7:50pm - Q&A
