Big shoutout to this non-profit (and a very *professional* one, mind you 🍊) indie game developer collective for hosting us again – couldn’t ask for a better creative playground! 👾 Food or snacks for sharing during the origami session are very welcome, so bring them on! Let’s be honest: the traditional cultural sector often forces us to choose between our creative integrity and our financial survival. The myth of the "starving artist" or the "solitary genius" is a trap that keeps cultural workers in a constant state of precarity. But what if we could design our projects differently? What if we could build cultural businesses based on solidarity, cooperation, and radical sustainability? Join us on May 27th for an interactive, hands-on workshop co-hosted by ODBK and Travelling U. Bianca Dakli’s paintings depict nocturnal scenes of inner landscapes. She draws her inspiration primarily from the sky, the moon, the sea, and its unpredictability. She seeks openness, freedom, and new possibilities. Her works invite viewers to encounter an often challenging external world with curiosity and openness, rather than with fear. Having spent her entire life in chaotic metropolises, she views painting as a gateway to a world entirely distinct from the material and hectic struggles of daily life. Through her paintings, Dakli aims to open up spaces of freedom that foster tranquility and offer time for reflection. Dakli has lived in Berlin since 2013 and works as a freelance artist in the fields of dance and performance. For several years now, she has focused primarily on acrylic painting and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
