This is a free event taking place during normal business hours and is open to all ages.
Catherine Prose has her studio in Wichita Falls, Texas where she teaches printmaking and drawing at Midwestern State University. Maryruth Prose works in her studio in Meers, Oklahoma where she primarily works on large Rio Grande loom using hand dyed wool. Let's Paint at a private residence in Georgetown!
Jan Frazier has graciously invited us (once again) to paint out on her property in Georgetown! She has a shaded yard, flower garden, quaint greenhouse building, chicken coop, pastures and barn near by. There is plenty of parking available. Enter the backyard through the gate behind the driveway. Please close the gate behind you so the dog doesn't get out. I hope you will join us!
Please remember to bring sunscreen, hat, bug spray and plenty of water! See you there!
Queer Crafting at Epoch Coffeehouse (Far West)
Queer crafters of all types are welcome to bring a portable project. We will chat and craft together. Most of our regulars don't check in on Meetup, so come even if no one is signed up. Weather permitting, we usually sit outside!
Our group is usually around 5 people, but we have some bigger and smaller days -- we're all busy. Very rarely we'll have only one person show up; our sincerest apologies if that happens to you.
Cafe Drawing - North (Gong Cha)
Come draw with us at our monthly meeting at Gong Cha (RR 620 location). This is a casual drawing meetup for anyone who likes to create art/draw, no matter their experience level.
Make sure to come prepared with something to draw/illustrate with, which can include: tablets, paper and pencil, sketchbooks, notepads, paint (ex. watercolor), markers, colored pencils, etc. There is no theme; just come out and have fun!
While at the event, it is *not* mandatory but encouraged to purchase an item to support Gong Cha’s hospitality. Thank you! ☺️
