Spring is approaching, as well as the monthly gathering for producers, synth addicts, DJs, musicians, sound designers, composers, and audio enthusiasts in general, of all levels! Just hanging out, chatting projects and gear, swapping ideas, and geeking out over sounds we love. 🎛️🎧🔊 As we all felt pretty comfortable at Jo&Joe, this month, we are sticking with the same location 🙃 Just grab a drink, catch up or meet new folks. Du wirst in diesem lockeren Kunstgeschichte Kurs direkt vor den Originalen Meisterwerken im Kunsthistorischen Museum Wien einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Epochen der Kunstgeschichte von der Kunst des Mittelalters bis ins 18. Jahrhundert bekommen und wirst fortan Kunst in allen Ausstellungen anders sehen und verstehen und Zusammenhänge besser erkennen können. Jede Woche wenden wir uns einer Epoche zu und einem der wichtigsten Werke von einem der bedeutendsten Künstler im Kunsthistorischen Museum. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich, der Kurs ist aber auch für Fortgeschrittene gut besuchbar. Alles wird in lockerem Beisammensein vor den Bildern stattfinden, anschließend stehen das wunderschöne Café in der Kuppelhalle im Museum und die vielen netten Lokale in nächster Nähe für weiteres Beisammensein zur Verfügung und natürlich kann man auch einfach noch weiter alleine oder mit alten und den neuen Bekannten sich selbständig im Museum noch mehr anschauen. Join us for a relaxed creative session where scent becomes inspiration :) We will explore the connection between **natural aromas and visual expression**. A selection of essential oils will be available, and you can intuitively choose one that attracts you. Take a moment to notice what the scent evokes - **colors, textures, memories, or images**. You can translate your impressions into a drawing or painting. Your work can be **abstract** or represent an object, place, or feeling you associate with the scent. No drawing experience is needed - just curiosity and openness to experiment. What to bring: your favorite drawing/watercolor materials and paper. ⚠️ Please note: essential oils will be used during the session - if you have allergies or sensitivities to scents, please take this into consideration before attending.

We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily. I'll try to have signs outside Marian Hall that Identify our group. We hope to have you join us!

This month we will be discussing **Frank Santoro**, an American cartoonist, painter, and comics critic known for his expressive lines, experimental page layouts, and vibrant use of color. His graphic novels—including *Storeyville*, *Pompeii*, and *Pittsburgh*—blend personal storytelling with innovative visual structure, often exploring memory, place, and relationships. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists. Afterwards, we will have time to work on our individual art projects, hang out, and if anyone is interested in feedback on their work, there will be time for that as well.
