Join me for an evening photo walk :) This time, we will try to get some shots of Vienna´s U-bahn stations! Our plan is as follows: Stephansplatz (view of Stephansdom), Karlsplatz (view of Opera), Volkstheater (architecture inside), Schottentor (view of Votivkirche / good overview of U2). Please note that a valid public transport ticket is needed for this event. The event is free of charge but will be limited to max 10 people as it is meant as an opportunity to connect. Die Ausstellung „United by Queerness“ widmet sich diesen Spannungsfeldern zwischen Vielfalt und Nationalismus, Inklusion und Ausgrenzung. Sie folgt einem dreiteiligen räumlichen Konzept – vom Wohnzimmer über die Arena bis zur Bühne – und zeigt, wie der ESC erlebt, gefeiert und politisch interpretiert wird. Qwien macht damit die queeren Dimensionen des ESC sichtbar und reflektiert ihn als popkulturelles Phänomen, das bis heute Debatten auslöst. English: Since 1956, the Eurovision Song Contest has been much more than just a music competition. As a transnational media event, it reflects European moods, political divisions and pop culture developments as well as national self-promotion. For many in the LGBTQIA+ community, the ESC is also a central place for queer visibility – and thus a space for belonging, representation and negotiation. The exhibition ‘United by Queerness’ is dedicated to these tensions between diversity and nationalism, inclusion and exclusion. It follows a three-part spatial concept – from the living room to the arena to the stage – and shows how the ESC is experienced, celebrated and politically interpreted. Vienna Storytelling Collective's hugely popular **OPEN MIC STORYTELLING** nights continue on **Thursday 19th February 2026 at 19.00h** in Café Korb, with the audience-chosen theme "In My Defence" At our OPEN MIC STORYTELLING NIGHT performances range from stories, songs, poetry and stand up from aspiring writers, plus we always have a selection of experienced and/or established professional writer/performers to close the first and second halves of the evening for us. Vienna Storytelling Collective’s Open Mic event is one-of-a-kind for Vienna, an English language event where creative minds come together to share captivating stories. Whether you are an author, poet, writer, or just someone who loves storytelling, this evening is the perfect place to share your work or simply be inspired by others. Our open mic sessions provide an opportunity to perform your short stories, poems, share your songs (piano available) , or even try your hand at stand-up comedy or spoken word performances. Du wirst in diesem lockeren Kunstgeschichte Kurs direkt vor den Originalen Meisterwerken im Kunsthistorischen Museum Wien einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Epochen der Kunstgeschichte von der Kunst des Mittelalters bis ins 18. Jahrhundert bekommen und wirst fortan Kunst in allen Ausstellungen anders sehen und verstehen und Zusammenhänge besser erkennen können. Jede Woche wenden wir uns einer Epoche zu und einem der wichtigsten Werke von einem der bedeutendsten Künstler im Kunsthistorischen Museum. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich, der Kurs ist aber auch für Fortgeschrittene gut besuchbar. Alles wird in lockerem Beisammensein vor den Bildern stattfinden, anschließend stehen das wunderschöne Café in der Kuppelhalle im Museum und die vielen netten Lokale in nächster Nähe für weiteres Beisammensein zur Verfügung und natürlich kann man auch einfach noch weiter alleine oder mit alten und den neuen Bekannten sich selbständig im Museum noch mehr anschauen. While researching his 2022 film, director Bas Luhrmann came across and compiled rare and previously unseen interviews and videos of Elvis in concert to create “one of the most exciting concert films you’ve ever seen!” Here are details, a trailer and our plan for this event: DESCRIPTION: Part documentary, part concert film, the latest from director Bas Luhrmann is a follow-up to his 2022 film starring Austin Butler. While researching the film, he came across 68 boxes of previously unseen interviews, concert performances and outtakes from previous films. A combination of offstage and onstage Elvis, comes a film that “befits the magnitude of Elvis as a performer but also offers deeper revelations of his humanity and inner life." It is written/directed by Baz Luhrmann (ELVIS, MOULIN ROUGE, THE GREAT GATSBY) and stars the legendary Elvis Presley! We are a real world Martial arts group. \ Called DO JUNG ISHU (the art of fighting) \ Based off of Jeet kune do we just continued where Bruce Lee left off. \ We have been around a while. \ We are donation based.
