This is a FREE and chill event for those creatives looking for dedicated time to be creative and to form connections with others. From professionals to beginners, there are no requirements.. just good vibes and a wicked environment. The event will be held in my private flat/studio. Volvemos a la carga con mucho teatro y más ganas que nunca de poder compartir este maravilloso arte con vosotros. Teatro en estado puro al alcance de todos! Este grupo parte del trabajo del actor creador. Este curso pretende facilitar el descubrimiento y la ejercitación de los hábitos creadores del actor en el alumnado. Se pondrán en práctica todos los aprendizajes actorales para fomentar un trabajo de creación colectiva. Iniciaremos con una investigación interpretativa a través de improvisaciones y propuestas escénicas para llegar a una creación colectiva de varios montajes de microteatro a representar en distintos centros, teatros y salas de Barcelona. Una vez tengamos la propuesta creativa empezaremos a incidir y trabajar en todo lo que es necesario para una creación escénica que se presentará en público. Aprenderemos a realizar un montaje teatral con todo lo que hay delante y detrás del escenario. Partiendo siempre del trabajo de la creación colectiva y de grupo, profundizaremos en el trabajo de personajes, creación, texto y guion. Este grupo está basado en el trabajo de fusión de la formación actoral y el aprendizaje escénico a través de la creación de un montaje teatral a representar al final del curso en distintos teatros y salas de Barcelona. Se trabajarán temas relacionados con la creación escénica y el trabajo actoral, a la vez que se aprenderá a realizar un montaje teatral con todo el trabajo que ello conlleva delante y detrás del escenario. This Sunday I’m hosting one of my **dream workshops: Portraits in Water** \- a creative session dedicated to capturing stunning\, ethereal portraits using nothing more than a **simple bathtub, water, and a bit of imagination**. During the workshop, I will guide you through my personal process of creating **dreamlike water portraits**. You’ll learn how a small setup can produce powerful images as we gradually transform the scene around our model. Throughout the class we will experiment with different visual elements, including: * floating flowers and leaves * colored water dyes to change the mood and palette * bubbly foam to create soft, surreal textures You’ll see how light, composition, and subtle styling choices can completely transform the atmosphere of an image. This technique is very close to my heart — I created an entire **bathtub portrait series** years ago, and one of the photographs from that series even **won a photography competition in 2011**. Some of those images are included in this event for inspiration. The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 12:00 - quick intros. 12:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 1:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 1-1:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session.
