At 10.30AM on Saturday 4th of April we'll start at our meeting point Houten Castellum train station, where we'll be waiting you in the tunnel under the train station. On our way we'll pass several sights, including the colorful houses at the Rietplas (yes, there will be time to make some photos there), the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal and Kasteel Schonauwen. Do you think about joining, but you're not sure what this is about? Well, Utrecht Hiking Community aims to organise one hike per month. If you're in for a hike with a bunch of friendly other people, you are very welcome to join, no matter whether you are an expat, professional, nomad, local or a student. This hike picks up the trail where we left it on March 8, in Culemborg. We then crossed the river Lek. We will now continue southwards to the river Linge, over mostly unpaved (and sometimes muddy) paths. With some luck, we will see apple, pear and cherry trees in full bloom, as they grow abundantly in this area. **Meeting time and place**: we will meet at **10.15am** at train station Culemborg. This women’s circle is an invitation to give yourself one hour to pause, slow down, and reconnect with your body, your inner voice, and other women. You can think of it as a small personal ritual, creating the habit of listening to yourself, writing, and setting intentions for the month ahead. Hi everyone! For those who want to enjoy a particularly unique adventure in (mostly) nature, you're welcome to join me in this special Easter hiking excursion! Pay attention, the route is 40km so it's not absolutely hike beginners. For first-timers (and as a helpful reminder 😉), I recommend that you wear a comfy outfit & shoes and bring (lots of) water & a snack or two. At some points during the excursion, we will do breaks to rest and eat/drink for a while. But expect a steady pace faster than the normal hikes but not powerhiking pace.
