There's no better way to break up the week than with a run beside the river with a bunch of friendly people. So why not join us for our regular Wednesday evening meetup! Our route is a 7.5km (4.7 miles) loop around the river crossing Tower Bridge and finishing on Waterloo Bridge. Everyone runs their own pace and we welcome all levels of runners. We do ask that you are comfortable with this distance and are able to run at a pace of at least 6 min/km. After the run we go for a drink at The Understudy (KERB at the National Theatre). The NT have cloakrooms which anyone can use as a bag drop, though this can’t always be guaranteed. As of April 2026 there is a charge of £1.50 per item. If you find yourself unable to attend, out of courtesy to the host and other attendees, we ask that you update your RSVP so we know who will be joining us on the night!

We will have LONGER POSES for in depth work. It is for artists that use various medias that takes time. Also complete beginners are welcome as tutoring will be available. Join us to draw and relax. Join us at this historic studio under the arches of Hungerford Bridge on the South Bank of the Thames, where the renowned painter and reportage artist Felix Topolski RA worked from 1951 until 1989 for an evening hosted by his grandson Lucian Topolski. Mark Lovelace will lead the drawing, Mark is an artist, with a special interest in drawing, who has been running classes at the Barbican Art Society, and at London Life Drawing, for many years. The studio has easels and all the equipment you might want, including a variety of drawing materials. Sketchbooks with reproductions of work by Felix Topolski are also available to purchase. Lucien will be around after the class to socialise, and you are welcome to bring your own drinks. There is also the Topolski Bar nearby. Mark will explain some approaches to drawing which reflect the artistic concerns of Felix Topolski. Individual feedback is available if desired. Mark can either help you to develop your drawing in similar directions, or he can support you as you pursue your own path. We will have a mixture of pose lengths. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available during the break. A Rabble session is 1 hour of fun and social team games. Each game disguises high-intensity intervals within the rules, giving you an effective, all-body workout without even realising it. We play a bunch of different games at each session (like British Bulldog, Capture the Flag, Dodgeball, Frisbee and many more), and every class is different. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
