Join this outdoor activity and have some nice company on Eastermonday. We will walk alongside the small river Wuhle starting at the station Wuhletal and taking the south part of the Wuhletal-hiking trail. This walk has 10 km and takes around 2/2,5 hours and ends at the station Köpenick (all AB-area). There is no possibility for purchasing food or drinks on the way. Additionally we can have coffee after in one of the cafés in Altstadt Köpenick. The hike starts in Storkow, where we have short glimpse into its castle and cross a draw bridge over the Storkow canal. Before climbing one of Brandenburg's biggest inland dune, we get a view of Lake Storkow. After crossing forests and the village of Kolipin with its lake, we arrive at Bad Saarow, a spa town renowned for its hot springs and mineral-rich mud. From there, we take two trains back to Berlin in the late afternoon. Meet us in the **first car of the train RE7**, departing from **Ostkreuz station at 11:02** **am on platform 1,** (transfer in Königs Wusterhausen to RB36) **arriving at Storkow (Mark) at 11:57 am** Unless you subscribed to the Deutschlandticket, you'll need to buy a ticket to Storkow (Mark) and from Bad Saarow back to Berlin. Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun. Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards. Park anywhere around the building.
