And to make the most of the last Bank Holiday weekend, we've lined up a special Social Walk & Pub trip, exclusively for 20s and 30s.** Yep, we’ll be visiting perhaps the most beautiful walking spots in the whole of London, Richmond Park. To kick things off - you'll be allocated a team for an initial mix of fun and light-hearted games, designed to help you break the ice and get to know your fellow walkers a little better 💬 After the games, we’ll then set off on our 2-3 hour hike through some of South West London's most stunning green spaces. To start off the walk, we'll head along the River Thames and up to one of the most famous and well-photographed viewpoints overlooking Richmond. Next, we'll venture into Richmond Park, one of London's Royal Parks - known for its wide open spaces and stunning grasslands 🍃 If you haven't visited before, the park is renowned as a wildlife sanctuary, and you might spot the resident deer herds along the way. WE'LL BE ROCKING THE BOAT ON SATURDAY 23RD MAY and continuing every 2 weeks on a Saturday night throughout the summer . **No age restrictions : everyone is welcome . Come and meet other singles , mingle , make new friends and enjoy the buzz !** The Tattershall Castle is a permanently moored boat on the Thames at Embankment . It is also a floating nightclub and one of our favourite Saturday night venues . Summer/autumn nights aboard the Tattershall are absolutely sublime - there is simply nowhere else in London quite like it . The event takes the form of a social gathering/mixer with introductions in the earlier part of the evening , followed by dancing to the DJ's fabulous mix of music on deck and then later after 11 pm , more dancing in the clubroom downstairs til 2 am . I have a table reserved on deck (usually this is the first table on your right as you walk down the ramp onto the boat , but if you can't find me please ask a member of staff .) . The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
