On **Sunday, 21.12.2025**, I am planing a hike in the Lainzer Tiergarten. We meet at the U4 station Hütteldorf, walk through the Nicolaitor and hike to the Hubertuswarte (a lookout tower) on the Kaltbründelberg (508m). We continue to the main entrance, the Lainzer Tor and on another path back via the Nicolaitor to the U4 station Hütteldorf. At Lainzertor there is the possibility to take bus 56B, e.g. to U4 Wien Hietzing. So if you want, you can end the hike at the Lainzer Tor. So there are two hiking options of different lengths: **1\. U4 station Hütteldorf to Lainzer Tor:** Length of the tour: approx. 12km Duration: approx. 3.5h Altitude difference: approx. 300m up and 250m down **2\. U4 station Hütteldorf\, Lainzer Tor to U4 station Hütteldorf \(circular hike\):** Length of the tour: approx. 18km Duration: approx. 5.5h Altitude difference: approx. 500m up and 500m down We **meet at 9 a.m**. outside (and south) of the **U4 station Hütteldorf at the lift at the pedestrian bridge over the Vienna River** (see the photo below). Everyone has to bring their own food and drink (at least 1 liter), as we will not stop for a bite to eat. We take two to three breaks to rest and eat as needed. My hikes and mountain hikes are free of charge and purely private joint leisure events. I am not a certified hiking or mountain guide. Participation is at your own responsibility and risk.

This is our weekly event! ----------------- Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€ (for the 2 hours). If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available. We are meeting at about 10:25 am near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. If you do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes the host or other members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! If you are joining our events for the first time, WELCOME! Let the host know that you are new and they will find a place for you. Don't worry, we are an open and friendly group. We play 3 hours. Usually 6vs6 + player from each side that changes while rotating. First 15-20 minutes is warm-up and practice, then we play.
Number of courts: 1. 📍Location: School in Prizgasse 3, 1220 Wien. The entrance to the court is located on the left side of the main entrance. So if you stay facing the main entrance, you need to turn left, walk till the corner of the building, turn right and walk till you see the glass door. When you enter the glass door - you skip first court on the left, continue going straight. Then you will have one more glass door - and then on the left side you will find the wardrobe for guys, next one is for girls. Enter and you will see the court.  💪 Level: intermediate and higher. Intermediate means that you have experience playing indoor volleyball and you can pass the ball correctly.

Weekly screenings from a large archive of many of the most significant, yet seldom seen and rarely accessible cinematic masterpieces in the history of film - from its earliest beginnings to the present day. Screenings are in original language, if English, or original language with English subtitles. Films are selected democratically on the inspiration of a brief pre-screening discussion. The selected title is typically a "neglected gem" that most of us discover together for the first time. Individual taste is not a criterion and all participants are expected to put the interests of the group as a whole above personal preference or prejudice. In this sense, the emphasis is on openness, exploration, and surprise. Each screening is followed by an in-depth group discussion, led and mediated by the curator. WARNNG: FilmStory is not just about watching movies! Rather, it's a socially responsible, intellectual engagement, involving an organic approach to group study of film language, philosophy, art, history, politics, and technology. In this sense, the film is always merely the current highlight in an explorative, ongoing group discussion. **FilmStory** is a members-only series that involves a closely knit community of cinephiles. Events take place every Sunday in a comfortable, private setting with limited capacity. Participation is reserved primarily for regular members, but we're always ready to make new friends! Non-regular members may request to meet the community and, upon acceptance as a "new joiner," are welcome to participate in one event, according to space availability. New joiners are asked to make a €6 member dues contribution in advance of the requested date. In this special Confidence Lab session, we’ll explore confidence as something you can curate - through the choices you make, the qualities you amplify, and the story you choose to step into. We’ll start with a short guided reflection to surface the traits, habits, and energies you want to nurture in the coming year. Then, using collage materials selected specifically for this workshop, you’ll translate those insights into a visual composition that represents the version of yourself you’re ready to grow toward. This isn’t about resolutions or perfection. It’s about crafting a grounded, imaginative vision of your next chapter - one that feels honest, energizing, and fully yours. All materials are provided. Just bring yourself (and a friend) and a willingness to explore what confidence can look like for you in 2026. **Featured Partner: Columbus Collage Collective** The Columbus Collage Collective was started in August of 2023 by Emily Morgan (aka Lovely But Dead) and Douglas Cuckler (aka Wonder Doug) as a place for collage enthusiasts to gather and create art together. The collective has since become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to hold free or low-cost collage events across central Ohio. The CCC welcomes all artists of all backgrounds and skill levels and encourages folks to take this time to step away from everyday existence and create art with people who share a love for this dynamic art form. All materials—magazines, scissors, craft knives, glue, paper, cardboard, and more—are provided, so there's no need to bring anything at all (though you're welcome to bring a friend or a favorite tool if you'd like!).
